Last Friday I reached a real milestone in this new career of mine. One that I felt I wanted to do to prove I could do it (and do it well) to myself and to those that matter. Last Friday I cooked on live TV for the first time. It’s oh so different to cooking on prerecorded television – I’m sure there are hours of unplayable clips of me on MasterChef swearing away and calling myself horrible names for making minor mistakes. Live TV is a whole different kettle of fish, not just because I have to leave my potty mouth at the door but because it’s just out there immediately. I always worry about making a fool of myself, no matter what I’m doing – I’m sure many of you will be surprised to hear that – but Friday was the scariest!
