Size really doesn’t matter, it’s what you do with it that counts. In fact, I’d argue that smaller is better. Of course, what I’m talking about is restaurant menus. What did you think I was talking about? You filthy pervert.

Big ones terrify me. Again, I’m talking about menus. The only time I’m happy to see a big menu is in a Chinese restaurant or a BYOB Indian. The purpose of going to the latter is never truly an act of culinary exploration, let’s be honest. The reason I feel passionate enough to write about this is because I recently visited Marmo, a restaurant that did pretty much everything right from start to finish. From the ambience, to food, to the wine but most notably, to the size of the menu. Food envy is one of my biggest fears (I live a very sheltered life) so being able to go to a restaurant and order one of everything from the menu, maybe even a couple of certain things, is the dream.
