Lately I’ve been leaning into simple, repeatable outfit formulas that take the guesswork out of getting dressed. And almost every one starts with the same base: a white tee. Easy, versatile, and styled right it can look just as put-together as something way more complicated.
Idk if your white tee has been feeling a little uninspired lately, but these are the formulas I keep coming back to to make it feel intentional.
Matching sets can sometimes be predictable/boring (which I’m totally fine with most of the time). But sometimes I like to switch things up and break the look up with a white tee bc it feels like a whole new look!
A note on these shorts, the Tansy Woven Short in 3” — I find they run a little big so I size down in this particular style. But with other Varley shorts styles, I don’t size down. Just an FYI!

While we’re talking about matching sets, I’m wanting to share my favorites. Is that something you’d be interested in or are you covered in that department?
One more thing. Before we move on, I want to focus on this bag (it was an amazon find!) real quick because it has been a go-to for me this Spring. It was an Amazon find and I love it so much. The way that it holds it’s structure (unlike my other bucket bags) when I set it down and the pebble texture on the leather is so good.
A white tee and jeans (these are AYR) will never not work. It’s what I reach for when I’ve got nothing (which is most days, lol).
I keep the base simple, then add one thing that makes it feel actually styled. An oversized belt. A statement earring. A silk scarf.
While on this outfit, what do you think about the jelly sandal trend? I haven’t really been into it until I came across these. Something about them just makes me happy and I’ve worn them a surprising amount already!

A monochromatic look is always a go-to for me. It’s clean, cohesive, and takes zero effort to feel put-together (especially when I start with a white tee).
Then I add a pop of color. A bright bag. A bold necklace. A colorful sweater thrown over my shoulders (in this case, all three!). Minimal effort, never boring.
This white skirt was such a good amazon find, I purchased it immediately!
and I cannot get over how good the quality is on this designer-lookalike-bag! I LOVE the green, but I also have the in the tan/cognac color-way.

A simple white tee with a great trouser does the work for me. The structure of the trouser elevates the tee right away. Takes it from casual to polished without needing much else. I usually keep it minimal from there. Clean shoes, simple jewelry, neutral bag.

So there it is. Four ways I make one white tee feel like four different outfits. Nothing complicated, all of it on repeat.
If you grab one formula and run with it, that’s the whole point. And if you’ve got a white tee combo I’m missing, tell me bc I will absolutely steal it.
