I’m very excited to announce my next trip!
In early 2028 I’ll be heading to what I think is the most underrated photography destination in the world: The Philippines:
It’s one of those rare destinations that has it all. You have wildlife, nature, cities, street photography, and some of the most unbelievable landscapes in the world.
This trip will give you a little bit of all of that.
We’re going to be island hoping around from Luzon and its rice terraces, to Cebu and its waterfalls, to Bohol and its chocolate hills, and to El Nido and its unreal seascapes. Honestly this trip is going to be epic.

I’m in India now, and it has been awesome so far. I mean, awesome, awesome.
All of the negative stereotypes you hear of India have just felt so far from reality as we’ve enjoyed Delhi’s busy streets, ancient forts, and we’re now in the midst of a tiger safari in which we’ve seen over a half dozen tigers in just a day and a half. Unreal.
There’s more to come from here. I published my thoughts on India this week on my Substack here.
I have a BIG discount on my Japan trips in November/December. There’s just 1 spot left on each my Fall and Winter Japan trips this year. I’d love to get that last space filled, so I have a discount. If you’re interested in that last spot, email me at brendanvanson@gmail.com.
I forgot to mention that I have a new video live over on YouTube. It’s the second of my Uganda series in which I get to fulfil a dream of finally photographing my favourite animal on the planet in the wild.
Check it out here:
And, I’ll talk to you next week!
Take care,
BvS
