A fast-paced, international suspense/thriller novel in the style of "The DaVinci Code", exposing the dangerous religious underworld and end times conspiracies.

Hello there, fellow dreamer!

This is another in a series of videos about my first book and only novel, “Map of Dreams.” In these videos, I provide the novel’s backstory, which I believe is as interesting as the story itself. Why did I write the book? What motivated me? What could I have possibly been thinking?

Since my unscripted videos might include spoilers, as a courtesy to you, dear reader, I am also providing a complete, unabridged copy of the book along with the videos. Read the chapters first, or watch the video first — your choice.

My Video

What’s the book about?

Seven billion people dream every night. Someone is controlling them.

When a brilliant but reclusive university researcher develops software capable of interpreting dreams across the globe, he stumbles onto something that should be impossible: strangers sharing elements of the same dream. The same objects. The same hidden language — repeated, evolving, and pointing toward something buried for centuries.

Before the student can tell anyone, he’s murdered, thrusting his brother and estranged wife into a hunt they never asked for, chasing fragments of an ancient map encoded within the dreams of millions. From the shadows of Cairo to the subterranean cisterns of Istanbul, from the rainy streets of Berlin to the storm-lashed Azores, they are hunted by shadowy factions with roots in the world’s oldest religious orders, whose reach extends into the highest corridors of power.

Organizations that will sacrifice anything to keep the secret buried — even to kill on a global scale.

As a lab-engineered pandemic spreads around the world, one question becomes impossible to ignore:

What could be so dangerous that someone would sacrifice millions of lives to keep it hidden?

If you are one of those who (like me) enjoy holding a real book in your hands, you can buy a paperback of “Map of Dreams” from Amazon. It is also available there as an ebook. Here is the link:

Chapter Fourteen

YOU ARE PISSING ME OFF AS USUAL, Lena. Why can’t you take my advice for once?”

“We need to stay here in Frankfurt,” Lena yelled, spittle flying onto Tyler’s red face. “They can’t kill us if we hide.”

“I don’t think so,” Tyler said, waving her off as if she had bad breath. “We have a solid plan. We meet with Achibar and find out what the fuck is going on. We should follow it.”

“I disagree,” Lena said, throwing her pack onto the floor. “How the hell do we know we can trust him? What makes you so sure we aren’t walking into a trap?”
