Should the SS Totenkopf replace the Democrat donkey as their party symbol? Apparently the Democrats of Maine think so.

I feel like I need to say more about this subject as this is emblematic of everything wrong about the modern Democratic Party—a party that Truman, JFK, Scoop Jacson, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Zell Miller, even Bill Clinton would not recognize as anything close to representing their values and politics.

Maine Democrats have once again pulled back the curtain to reveal just how much hypocrisy drives their party. For literally decades, Democrats, enabled by their legacy media propagandists, have labeled anyone to the right of Che Guevara—from Reagan, to Bush, to Giuliani, to, of course, Donald Trump and the 77 million who voted for him—as “Nazis”. They have repeatedly taken to the streets of our cities in a Kabuki Theater show of “No Kings” and “NoHate” and “No Fascism.” As if just mindlessly bleating out empty bromides at full volume is a true litmus test of their virtue…which, as Maine has just shown us—and those with brain cells and eyes have always known—is all a lie. An act. A flagrant attempt to get a party that at the moment is driven by the emotional spasms of middle-aged unsatisfied white suburban women, elderly Flower Power residue desperate for relevance, maaaan, and race hustling grievance groups backed by manipulating billionaires whipped up into a frenzy so as to avoid any substantive discussion of the actual issues. (Because they know that, noise aside, they are not in the mainstream, as 2024 showed)

So they have offered themselves up as the “saviors of democracy” and being “against hate”. And yet, when it comes time to truly act out their virtue-signaling, they show their real colors. And, interestingly, their hypocrisy has been most clearly on display in that bastion of liberal idealism, New England.

First came the good people of Martha’s “All Are Welcome!” Vineyard. This 80% white insular enclave of wealth voted 76% for Democrat Kamala Harris in 2024. One must assume, then, considering the most impactful policy of the Biden’s Handlers-Harris Administration by far was opening the border to mass illegal immigration, that the good and virtuous wealthy Democrats of this blue Elysium would have welcomed “asylum seekers” onto their island with open arms. In fact, Texas’ Republican Governor Greg Abbott even obliged their virtuous clarion calls and self-congratulatory lawn signs by sending them what they voted for: fifty “migrants”. Just fifty out of a population of 21,500. Which is why the good Democrats—certainly better people than we MAGA racist white neanderthals (just ask them)—jumped at the chance to enjoy experiencing first-hand the fruits of their own ideology they have foisted on so many communities (especially in Governor Abbot’s state) in the flesh, right? I mean, they did vote for this.

Of course, I kid. We know what the people of Martha’s Virtue did with these bewildered “brown people” whom the bumper stickers on their Priuses and Range Rovers tell us are so welcome. Within forty-eight hours the National Guard (wait whut? I thought they were a “Gestapo”?) was called in to take out the trash. Indeed, these Hispanic migrants may as well have been catapulted back to the mainland ala Mel Brooks’ King Louis XVI in History of the World. Even though, the Obamas, among the Vineyard’s few black residents who moved to an island to apparently escape the rising sea levels of the looming climate change disaster, could house them all on their twelve-acre estate with room to spare. But, of course, they didn’t. The only bumper sticker in Martha’s Vineyard that would ring true is “Virtue For Me, Illegals For Thee.”

And yet, the hypocrisy on display courtesy of Obama’s exclusive island of virtue was akin to a pickup game when compared to the NBA Title Game that is the story of Maine’s Graham Platner. This is a man whom 76% of Maine Democrats just voted in the primary to be their representative in the Senate—one of the most important and powerful deliberative bodies in the world.

This is interesting as Graham Platner has for eighteen years sported on his chest for all the world to see a tattoo of the SS Totenkopf or “Death’s Head.” For those unfamiliar with this symbol, it was the moniker of the Nazi Schutzstaffel, better known as the SS. Many in Germany joined the Nazi party for reasons ranging from true belief in German ascendency to career advancement and even personal safety. Oskar Schindler was just such an opportunistic Nazi. But we also know his conscience that earned him a tree on Israel’s Avenue of the Righteous.

Not so the SS. Only true believers, and those considered of pure Aryan blood, were accepted into the ranks of what began as Hitler’s personal bodyguard. The driving ideology behind the SS, beyond blind devotion to the Fuhrer, was full acceptance of Nazi racial ideology that held that Germans could and should wipe out all the untermenchen (“sub-humans”) before them: Jews, gypsies, Slavs, Russians, etc…and a willingness to carry out their mission of indiscriminate mass murder with brutal and cold efficiency.

Indeed, the last thing a Jewish child, stripped naked with hair shorn, holding her mother’s trembling hand while being ushered to her death in the gas chamber would have seen was the Totenkopf on her executioners’ visor caps. Were one to try and come up with a symbol that is even more emblematic of racial hatred than the Swastika, it would be the SS Totenkopf. It was the badge of honor worn by such evil men as Heinrich Himmler, Reinhard Heydrich, Adolf Eichmann, Josef Mengele, Rudolf Hoess and so many others who gleefully not only took part in, but planned in detail, the most savage, sadistic, unimaginably cruel and widespread act of mass slaughter in Europe in modern times. Men like Heydrich and Eichmann at Wannsee in January 1942 casually mapped out over caviar and fine wine the most efficient way to murder the most people. And they all wore the Death’s Head on their uniforms.

And now the virtuous people of Maine, including such self-righteous boors as Stephen King, voted for a candidate to represent them who also bears the Totenkopf, and did so for eighteen years. In fact, the only reason Platner covered it up was because Democrat political operatives told him to. So, what does this say about Platner? Well, just ask yourself. Of all the tattoos in all the world to emblazon on your person, in a very loud and visible way, what kind of man would select the same badge worn by the commandant of Auschwitz (Hoess) and the architects of the Holocaust?

We know what this says about Platner, of course. But there is a far deeper, and more disturbing (if not surprising) question here. What does this say about the over 100,000 virtuous Maine Democrats who voted for this bona fide Nazi when other choices were available to them? We know the answer. It says that they never, not once, ever believed their own “You’re a Nazi!” schtick…and anyone who still thinks there is a shred of sincere outrage when they wheel out this tattered appeal to the irrationally emotional woke mob who make up the Democratic base (other than billionaires who fund their astroturf protests) is a fool.

Just as the Democrats on Martha’s Vineyard (and really any limousine liberal blue enclave, including my own town) let the façade crumble—that their virtue ends where their property values begin—the people of Maine have confirmed again what those outside the TDS Ward at Cedar Sinai have known for years. The modern Democratic Party cares not for minorities, or decency, or morality, or righteousness one iota beyond what political ore can be mined…they only care about one thing: POWER. And, we have seen from the weaponizing of the law against political opponents, to trying to destroy the reputation of respected jurists, to committing felonies like leaking Supreme Court decisions before the midterms, to imposing censorship of true reportage one month before the general election, to making excuses for their non compos mentis president, to even assassination, they will do anything no matter how unethical, and vote for anyone no matter how vile, to regain it. For them power is not a means to an end, it is the end itself.

The Democrats know they have a white working-class male problem. This used to be their base. So, for them, sure Platner may have an affinity for the butchers of Treblinka and Babi Yar, but hey, he was a Marine once, and has a beard and a tattoo. Isn’t that what “white dudes” are all about? For them, Platner is their answer to Pete Hegseth, J.D. Vance, and other actual men…thus do they see him as their best shot at defeating Republican Susan Collins. As Chuck Schumer—that’s Jewish Chuck Schumer—said without shame: “In November, Maine voters will elect Graham Platner, and we will win a Senate majority.” So what if the guy he supports most likely would have happily put a bullet in his head or shoved him into a gas chamber were this 1943 rather than 2026? What matters to the morally bankrupt and unashamedly mendacious members of the Democratic leadership is “can this Nazi be our Nazi and give us back power”?

A former serviceman, Platner no doubt knew exactly what he was inking in permanence on his chest, and thus what it stood for and the values it espoused. Yet he chose this vile emblem to wear on his very body. And he only removed it when called out on it. Yes, he is a slime. But there will always be scatterings of Graham Platners out there trying to break into politics. The true villains of this story are the party leaders who support him and every single Maine voter who gave this SS-wannabe their assent.
“The last Jew of Vinnitsa” shows what those SS men (in this case the Einsatzgruppen, a “task group” of roving executioners tasked by Reinhard Heydrich with “cleansing” the Eastern Front of Jews and untermenchen). Platner sported the same emblem worn by these mass murderers. 85 years ago, that could have been Chuck Schumer on his knees with Platner preparing to deliver the bullet. Today, sure, he may be a Nazi, but he has a “D” by his name so all good.

“Blue no matter who” has sunk to a new low. That is why I will mock the “No Kings” hypocrites like never before. If we had a free and fair press rather than a DNC mouthpiece, Platner’s tattoo—and its deeper meaning—would be front and center in the story. However, I just checked MSN at random for news on Platmer’s win. All they had to say was this: “Platner built momentum with a ‘man of the people’ pitch that resonated with moderates and progressives, drew substantial campaign funding and put him so far ahead that Democratic Governor Mills suspended her own Senate bid in April.” No mention of the fact that these “anti-fascists” voted for a man who pays the purveyors of the Holocaust homage. This is intentional lying by omission.

I would say shame on you to every Maine Democrat and every party leader who supports this man. But that would require the Democrats to have the capacity to feel shame. And they do not. They never have in fact. Indeed, one gets the sense that beneath the skin of every modern, progressive Democrat (not the ones I once voted for) lurks an authoritarian eager to be unleashed. When power is the ultimate goal, principles are mere swords to be brandished at those you oppose but quickly sheathed when those who actually violate those principles have a “D” by their names.

As an aside, I’m curious if Tucker “Churchill was the real WW2 villain” Carlson will have Herr Platner on his podcast. I mean, I think it’s safe to say they share the same fixation with hating Israel. Common ground is common ground. (Call it a hunch). Maybe Platner will offer a similar take on his Death’s Head mark that Dennis Miller humoursly offered about the Swastika as “just a cross doing cartwheels.” Although not even humor can mask the horror and suffering the Totenkopf symbolizes.

Even were Platner not a woman-beater with a fraudulent, concocted “working man” backstory—he went to prep school, his parents bought him his house, and the only customer this “oyster farmer” caters to is his mother’s restaurant—in a sane world in which honor and decency supersede partisan aims, Maine’s favorite Nazi would be another marginalized clown like the KKK’s David Duke, soon to be lost in the ashbin of loathesome candidates who filled one news cycle before never being relevant again. But, of course, Duke was a Republican…which as the Democrats now show, is the only crime they have ever cared about.

So to be clear, to Democrat minions, someone who wants to close the border so that people enter legally, roll back corrupt government initiatives, who believes that the US should not be subserviant to the very continent that gave us the SS in the first place, and who literally has streets and parks in Israel named for him is a “Nazi.” But a man with an advertised and brazen affinity for Hitler’s personal bodyguard is a “man of the people.” How deep does a party have to dig to stoop so low?

In case one wonders what the SS whom Platner lionized on his own flesh, were all about, below is one story among so many episodes of Nazi atrocities that it beggars the mind. I’ve got stacks of these. Just remember. This is what the Democrats seem to find tolerable in the age of power above all else:
Head of the brutal SS, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler (L) and his deputy SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Polizei Reinhard Heydrich (R). These two men, along with Adolf Eichmann orchestrated the most cruel and widespread mass murder campaign in modern European history. Platner wears the same emblem on his chest these two evil men sported on their visor cap.

After the assassination of SS henchman Reinhard Heydrich in Prague in June 1942, Gestapo agents burst into the apartment of the suspected conspirators and among those arrested was a seventeen-year-old boy (how many of you have teen-agers?). His name was Ata Moravec. He was living with his family whom the Germans suspected were involved in the plot.

They brought Ata back to a literal dungeon. After beating the boy, they then tied him to a chair, shoved a funnel in his mouth, and forced almost an entire fifth of alcohol down his throat. When he wouldn’t talk, they systematically used a ball peen hammer to smash his hands and fingers (he was a violist). Through his shrieks of agony, they then produced a bucket. When they showed him what was inside, the boy finally broke and revealed all he knew. The bucket contained the severed head of his mother.

The SS and local police then went to the village of Lidice and though the inhabitants had nothing to do with the assassination, they rounded up every man over age 16 and executed them...192 in all. 90 women and 88 children were then sent to concentration camps. Of the 88 children only 17 survived the war. The rest were murdered at Chelmno termination camp.

One can see Maine’s Senate candidate, were he alive then, happily participating. Again, how proud you all in Maine must be.

For the children of Liddice (forever memorialized above) and countless innocents across an entire continent, the appearance of armed men wearing the SS Totenkopf was a death sentence. But now the Democrats, the “party of democracy and anti-fascism” only see power.
