To secure South Texas’ future, we have to secure our water.

Imagine this. You wake up, head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, and when you turn on the kitchen sink: nothing.

That’s the reality residents of Corpus Christi, TX, could face in the next year.

The water reservoirs Corpus Christi relies on are running dangerously low. Without urgent action or major rainfall, Corpus Christi could become the first U.S. city to run out of water as soon as next summer.

This mess didn’t happen overnight.

For years, South Texas has dealt with a growing water crisis. In Corpus Christi, drought, bureaucracy, corporate greed, and local mismanagement have pushed the water supply to a breaking point. The story is the same in communities across the region.

Congress has the tools to help by passing emergency funding for water infrastructure or by accelerating permits for desalination projects. But it hasn’t happened.

Without action, there’s no farming, no jobs, no future. We need to fight for bold investments in desalination, modern irrigation, and infrastructure to secure the water our communities need for decades to come.

My father was a migrant farm worker. He learned that water wasn’t something you wasted or took for granted. Water is life, and it’s running out.

We’re not out of time to change the fate of our communities here in South Texas, but it requires urgent and immediate action.

If I’m elected to Congress, I’ll fight for the investment that South Texas needs to build long-lasting water infrastructure. I’ll hold Mexico accountable for water treaty obligations. And I’ll build a regional strategy that prioritizes South Texas families and farmers.

To secure the future of South Texas, we have to secure our water.

Thank you,

Bobby

Before you go!

Bobby Pulido is a Tejano singer and proud South Texan who is running for Congress to fight for his community.

He’s taking on one of the most competitive races in the country: Texas’ 15th District. Experts say it’s a 50/50 race, but this campaign has been consistently outraised by Bobby’s Trump-endorsed opponent.

Can you donate to Bobby’s campaign now to flip this red seat blue?
