Babies’ brains begin developing well before birth, and the most important years for a child’s brain development continue through the next five years. It is important to pay attention to nutrition and to avoid toxins as early as possible during pregnancy and even before if you are planning an addition to your family. You can’t go wrong by continuing that habit through the next five years. And once you have done that, hopefully, the foundation for good habits will be set for life. If they are abandoned, they should be easier to return to than if they never existed in the first place.
