Criminal Minds: Evolution star Paget Brewster recently called out a ScreenRant critic online for a negative review of her show, saying, “... You don’t know that bad pics and bad reviews can lead to 350 people losing their jobs. Sell vintage. Work at a shelter. Do something better than what you do now. Because right now you suck.” Brewster later apologized, but I say she was onto something: ScreenRant itself absolutely sucks, and that writer would definitely be better off doing anything else, anywhere else. (Me, I’d just fanboy the hell out if Paget Brewster acknowledged me at all.)

See You at Work Tomorrow! (Prime Video) New series: Burnt-out office worker Cha Ji-yoon (Park Ji-hyun) has sworn off dating after a stinging breakup and now only lives for fried chicken and beer when she’s off the clock (been there). But when she falls for her terrible boss, Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk), an office romance is born. Korean rom-com See You at Work Tomorrow! sounds suspiciously like return-to-office propaganda distributed by Amazon: “You’ll never find love working at home in your pajamas!” Maybe, but at least that fried chicken and beer are within arm’s reach. All American: The Final Season Special (The CW) Special: If you don’t count WB Network hand-me-down Supernatural, football drama All American is in the top three of The CW’s longest-running in-house productions. All American begins its eighth and final season in July, The Vampire Diaries also ran for eight, and The Flash lasted for nine (even though it really should have ended at four). Ryan Hamilton: This Just Hit Me (Netflix) Standup comedy special: Stream It This Week originates from Salt Lake City, where standup comedy fans watched Idaho transplant Ryan Hamilton perform in clubs for years before he relocated to New York. His first Netflix special was 2017’s Happy Face, and the title of his new set, This Just Hit Me, isn’t just a random phrase: Hamilton was run over by a shuttle bus at LAX in 2022. The American Experiment (Netflix) New docuseries: Just in time for America’s 250th birthday and/or grand kakistocracy finale, the five-part American Experiment examines the history of the nation and includes interviews with former vice presidents and cabinet officials, current and former members of Congress, former Supreme Court justices, leading historians, tribal chiefs, military experts, and thought leaders. Mercifully absent: Current POS POTUS Trump the Clown. “They used the word ‘experiment’ because it was unclear if it was going to work,” notes the trailer, as if it were any clearer now. The Bear (Hulu, FX) Season 5 premiere: The most stressful … drama? … comedy? … on TV returns for its fifth and final season, which finds Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) out of the restaurant biz, leaving Syd (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) to run The Bear as it faces closure and a serious reduction in screaming kitchen blowouts. There’s also a Michelin star on the line, NBD. If you prefer searing your nerves in a single binge, the new season of The Bear will be available in its eight-episode entirety today on Hulu.
