The reviews for Will Ferrell’s new Netflix golf comedy The Hawk are dismal, but I don’t care. Ferrell and Molly Shannon together again in an aggressively stupid series that, somehow, mocks and celebrates Arizona simultaneously, and costars Fortune Feimster as the world’s worst caddie and the other Wilson brother blatantly shilling Mike’s Hard Lemonade, is peak 2026 to me. Tee up Season 2.
King of the Hill (Hulu) Season 15 premiere: Or Season 2 as a Hulu reboot, if you prefer. The beloved 1997–2009 Fox series returned last year, picking up in real time with Hank Hill (voiced by Mike Judge) and wife Peggy (Kathy Najimy) retired in Arlen, Texas, and son Bobby (Pamela Adlon) now a 21-year-old chef in Dallas. The new King of the Hill has the lived-in feel of the original run, plus some surprisingly progressive takes on 2026 life and culture from good ol’ boy Hank—just don’t park your EV truck in front of his house. The Real Housewives of London stars Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker, and Nessie Welschinger (whoever they are), and has already aired in Britain on Hayu (whatever that is). It’s becoming more and more difficult to remember what Bravo did before The Real Housewives first flipped a table 20 years ago—was it a shopping channel? A 24/7 loop of John Wayne’s Rio Bravo? Soon, Ji was targeted for death by the group, and she finally figured out why her uncle trained her in mercenary survival skills growing up. Joining Stuart on his mission to restore order to a multiverse gone multi-wild are fellow Big Bang side characters Denise (Lauren Lapkus), Bert (Brian Posehn), and Barry (John Ross Bowie), along with sci-fi movie and TV references galore (but no laugh track, thankfully). Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+) Season 4 premiere: The penultimate season of Strange New Worlds signals the end of Star Trek TV, as both SNW and Starfleet Academy have been canceled by Paramount+ (there’s still a second and final season of Starfleet Academy to come, OnlyFeet faithful). The 10-episode fourth season of Strange New Worlds coincides with the 60th anniversary of Star Trek, which launched in 1966 with the classic series, and Season 5 (whenever it premieres) will complete the Trek circle in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fashion. Breaking Bear (Tubi) New animated series: What if Yogi Bear were an environmental activist who saw Narcos as a how-to guide? That’s pretty much Breaking Bear, which follows a bear family who run a drug empire for money to battle frackers and other enemies of the forest. RFK Jr. also worms his way in here, somehow. This isn’t just another cheap-o Tubi series: Breaking Bear is coproduced by Blink-182 guitarist and paranormal enthusiast Tom DeLonge, and the voice cast includes Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Annie Murphy, Elizabeth Hurley, and Josh Gad.
