Prayer for Who You Were Made to Be

Father,

Remind me what I loved.

Not what I was told to love. Not what looked good on paper.

The things that made me come alive—writing, singing, dancing, cooking, building, drawing.

The thing I did without being asked.

That was You speaking.

That was You showing me how You designed me.

But I put it down. I was told it wasn’t practical. Wasn’t stable. Wouldn’t pay the bills. So I learned to ignore the signal and doubt the compass You built into me.

Show me again. Bring those memories back—not as nostalgia, but as evidence. Evidence of how You made me.

And then open the doors. Not just to remember, but to do again. To build a life around what You designed me for. To make money doing it. To serve others through it.

Because when I’m doing what You designed me to do, I’m flowing with my nature—not against it. That’s when real provision comes. That’s when real impact happens.

Help me stop listening to the voices that said I couldn’t.

Help me listen to You instead.

Restore me to myself.
