IT'S FINISHED: The Garden Kitchenette

I don’t even know who I am anymore. The old me would NEVER - not even fleetingly consider showing a semi-finished space. Perhaps it’s moving to a full on renovation and realising that there is very little to show, and that progress, or even getting started, will be quite slow, but I am so extremely excited to have this bit of the garden room close to finished, that I decided I would break the rule of a lifetime, throw caution to the wind as it were, and just do it.

But before I show you, here’s a reminder of what it looked like immediately before we moved in back in March. A bit grim, but to be fair it hadn’t ever been used the way we will use it - I’m 99.9% sure it had only ever been used as a storage room despite the fact it has a small shower room, and plumbing and electrics for the kitchenette. Grim it may have been, yet I could always see its huge potential, and it was one of the things that made us fall in love with this house - the promise of what it could be.
