Northfield is just a hop and a skip away from the Twin Cities, which makes it perfect for weekend day trips, morning brunch dates, and forced writing retreats where I drive down for the day and spend hours finalizing my memoir. This town has it all: innovative coffee, giant cardamom knots, cute shops, small farms where you can pick-your-own berries or apples, and pizzzzzzza.
