If you want change, change the language you use.
When I say this, I don’t mean invent a new language. On the contrary, I am challenging you to use a very old language - the language of poetry and art.
It doesn’t have to be good or ever made public (even if I think that would be fun!), it just needs to inspire you to see and think of yourself in different ways.
So, you can do what I did, start from the top and notice beauty. It doesn’t have to be fancy or require a lot of time. A notes scribbled on a page or on an app are enough, because really, it is the noticing that matters the most, not so much the ritual.
My head make me fit for a queen - it’s width is enough to hold a crown regally
My cheeks are my grandmothers gift and my eyes are like secret little chameleons that only the one who look long enough can notice the color of
My lashes are long and strong, the give I’ve shared with my children
My freckles, they are like my own tiger stripes, they make my face unique and interesting - the face that is kissed by sun and follows the rhythm of mother nature
My shoulders are the most beautiful shoulders I’ve ever seen, and together with my back, the sexiest thing about my body to me
My belly is an inverted heart, so when I look down it’s like love is always staring back at me
My nails are the most beautiful shade of pink, and my legs, well, they could rival many athletes
My toes are like little secret treasures, I paint them my favorite colors and when I see they I feel happy
From the back, with sharp narrowing of my ribs and high hips, I remind myself of Marlyn Monroe herself, so I will, if choice presents itself, showcase that beauty in any outfit and enjoy knowing it.
If you like this, come over to my TikTok - I am doing a challenge - 100 beutiful things about you in 30 days. It has been a blast for me, and honestly, I am already feeling better then I have.
