Be mad, be sad, be angry, but don’t be ashamed or ever feel guilty

You can be mad, because it is really not fair you get a body like this when others got long legs and flat tummies and tiny shoulders
Why? Why couldn’t you just look like everybody else? Why did you have to get this kind of a body?

Yes, you can be mad.

You can be sad because you are the one who was born into a body like this
Your belly has always been too big, your shoulders too wide and not an ounce of fat on those hips to even things out
Worse combination ever
The loser of genetic lottery
Grieve
It is unfair
But please don’t feel ashamed or guilty

You can be angry
You can be furious with the world
Because the world says that bodies like ours are not beautiful
Because the world dares to say that big belly means you are unhealthy
Because the world insists on get us thinner and with a small belly
All the while the world is making money and keeping us obsessed and trapped and hating our bellies and bodies
You can be angry

Yes, you can…be me mad, be sad, be angry, but don’t be ashamed or feel guilty
Because living in this world, in this kind of a body, will do that to a woman
To turn her against herself
To scream at herself
To hate her body
To feel guilty for being the only one who can’t pull her shit together, who can’t give up flour or do more crunches
All the while we are ghosting ourselves, pretending like our belly can be gone one day
When really, it is as part of us as our fingers are
But what can you do when everyone says you are all wrong?

They are wrong!

You can just be
This body is not your fault and you have nothing to be ashamed off
You did nothing wrong
You were just born
And the body you have, it’s just a body
Don’t listen to their marketing
Don’t be ashamed of your home
You did nothing wrong
You are just live in an imperfect body in a world that is imperfect

So, be mad, be sad, be angry, but don’t be ashamed or feel guilty
Because your body is not a wrong body and you did nothing wrong
You've just absorbed world shitty way of thinking
So now you get to stop trying to change the body and instead work on changing that thinking of yours
Because, what the truth is and what you need to remember is
YOUR BODY IS JUST A BODY
just another human body
Repeat that as many times as you need
Until you believe it
Until you believe that you are not any worse than others are
And your body is as beautiful and as fabulous as every other body is
Because it is a human body, and they are beautiful and glorius
And we can’t exist without one
So it is not fair to say one of those is lesser then the others
Just because it like to keep most it’s fat in the belly
