This time last week, our team was immersed in a whirlwind of shows, previews, and beautiful moments across New York Bridal Fashion Week. It’s one of those weeks spent weaving between showrooms and events, crossing paths with industry friends, collaborators, favorite stylists, fellow planners, and even clients along the way.
The week feels equal parts fabulous and inspiring, a reminder of how much craftsmanship goes into each look our brides bring into their wedding weekend wardrobe. Scroll for a few favorite looks and highlights from the week!
Oscar tapped two of our favorites, the ever-timeless Aerin Lauder and expert stylist Anny Choi, to host a breakfast kickoff at their Madison Avenue store. Our friends and longtime collaborators Acquolina Catering handled the breakfast bites beautifully, with one of their signature spreads stealing the show. The gathering also served as a toast to Aerin, who recently launched her bridal registry. And of course, her own iconic Oscar de la Renta wedding moment was top of mind.
It’s no secret that our brides love a custom moment with Patricia and her team. We have so many exciting projects in the works with them this year that we can’t wait to share. Patricia showed five beautiful looks at the fabulous Sophia Brahe boutique uptown. The black accents and use of feathers felt especially strong this season. I love how our friend, Corbin Gurkin captured the collection here.
Our brides often turn to Markarian for welcome party and rehearsal dinner looks. This fringe number was a true standout, and we also loved the separates shown this season, which feel particularly versatile for a wedding weekend wardrobe.
This theatrical show was a highlight of the week for everyone! The Tanner Fletcher team took over St. Bartholomew’s Church for a full production that had everyone talking. The Cinderella-esque storyline was playful and immersive, paired with a lineup of looks that felt both imaginative and considered.
For brides beginning the search for their gown, the experience at Danielle’s atelier is not to be missed. The couture looks shown this season felt incredibly innovative, with a level of craftsmanship that continues to set the brand apart. The metallic moment was a personal favorite.
Exciting times for Lela Rose Bridal as the brand celebrates its 20th year in bridal. A full-circle moment for me, as I interned with Lela at 18, my very first introduction to the wedding world.
A thoughtful detail from this collection: each button is crafted as a porcelain rose, a subtle nod to the traditional 20-year anniversary gift.
So many ideas to carry forward as we head into a busy season ahead! For a broader look at the collections, Vogue’s full roundup of standout looks is well worth a read.
