I’m sitting at my desk right now doing some light meditation to prepare my soul for RSA Conference.
(Don’t judge me.)
Two weeks, people. Two weeks.
To every person showing up to RSAC (and the team behind the keyboard who aren’t going but juggling logistics remotely) and pulling off the impossible feat of managing a tradeshow of that scale, I genuinely don’t think you get enough credit.
The booth, the briefings, the coordinating seventeen different people across three time zones - it’s a lot.
I see you. I’m rooting for you.
And to everyone attending - Godspeed.
Between the badge hunts, the sad hamburger sliders, and the full-contact sport of finding somewhere to sit down for five minutes - RSAC is a lot.
It’s beautiful chaos. And somehow, every year, we do it anyway.
So here’s my contribution to making it slightly less chaotic for you.
I’m holding Open Office Hours at the W Hotel Lobby Bar. This is an open door to real conversation.
If you’ve been in my world for a while - if you’ve listened to the podcast, read the newsletter, been part of the research - this is your invitation to come say hi in person and actually talk.
Come with your real questions. Leave with clarity. Or just chill with me.
Here’s what I’m happy to dig into with you:
Why experiential marketing is the only thing cutting through the noise right now and why most vendors are doing it wrong
What it actually takes to create an experience that makes a CISO stop, stay, and remember you
How to turn a single in-person moment into months of content that builds pipeline
Why your buyers don't trust you and how experiential flips that dynamic completely
How to build a case internally for experiential when your CMO is still asking for MQLs
How to use your voice to build influence without becoming a vendor mouthpiece
How to turn RSAC into momentum that lives for months after the conference floor clears
I've spent 15+ years in tech.
I have relationships with thousands of CISOs and security leaders.
I've done the research.
I've sat in the rooms.
I know what buyers think about you and I'll tell you the goddamn truth.
Come with your real questions.
I’m bringing a camera to RSA.
I’m conducting an on-camera research study capturing the deepest, most unfiltered perspectives on the state of cybersecurity go-to-market straight from the people living it:
Marketers, vendors, founders, practitioners, and buyers.
This isn’t a podcast interview. It isn’t a testimonial. It isn’t a sponsored segment.
It’s primary research - raw, on-record, unscripted - that will become part of a published study on the state of experiential marketing in cybersecurity.
Your voice, your perspective, your name attached to something that actually matters in this industry.
The questions we’ll explore together:
Why the trust gap between vendors and buyers keeps widening and who’s actually responsible for closing it
What it really takes to break through to a CISO who’s seen every pitch, heard every claim, and stopped trusting marketing years ago
The gap between what vendors think buyers care about and what buyers actually lose sleep over
What good GTM looks like in a market where everyone sounds the same, budgets are tighter, and scrutiny is higher than ever
Why experiential marketing is becoming the only credible path to building buyer trust and what it takes to get it right
If you have something real to say - if you’ve felt the frustration, seen what works, or have a perspective the industry needs to hear - I want you in front of my camera.
Camera slots are limited. First come, first served.
Here’s something I don’t see enough of at RSA:
Vendors actually capturing what’s happening at their booth - the real conversations, the buyer reactions, the moments that make people stop and engage.
If you’re creating a unique experience for buyers at your booth - an activation, a live demo, something that actually puts the human element front and center - ping me.
I’ll come to you.
I’ll capture it on camera.
We’ll get the raw, unscripted reactions.
We’ll document what it actually feels like to be on the receiving end of what you built.
This is what experiential marketing is supposed to look like and it’s exactly what I do.
Slots are extremely limited.
If this is interesting to you, reply to this email now so we can figure out timing before the week gets away from us.
📍 March 24th. W Hotel Lobby Bar. San Francisco.
Lock in a specific time for office hours or grab a camera slot
Or just show up. I’ll be there, and my door is open
This is what I believe in - human proximity, real conversations, no BS.
Come bring yours.
See you there,
🔥Dani
