EmBody Maps are art!
Sometimes art is difficult to describe to others, so this Show & Tell offers a brief glimpse into the world of my EmBody Map art.
I have been drawing EmBody Maps since 2013.
Each map is completely unique to the individual and the moment in time in which it is created. Here is one I created for myself:
Each image below is a small window into someone's healing journey. While every map is unique, they all invite us to see the body through curiosity, symbolism, and compassion.
I use art as a bridge to wonder and beauty while addressing health.
When we experience beauty—or simply allow ourselves to experience wonder—it becomes much easier to let go of limiting stories about our bodies. Wonder opens the door to curiosity, and curiosity opens the door to healing.
