It took 150% of my time and attention to get two neurodivergent little kids through each day. I began writing stick-figure pictogram schedules for my kiddo when he was a toddler, which helped! But it was also time consuming, and he this forced him into a passive role since he didn’t have the fine motor control to draw his own routine.

Enter our Daily Visual Routines calendar. Printing this out allows kiddos to shift the images around, giving them a sense of ownership and agency over their daily routines.

If, like me, you don’t have access to a color printer, laminator, or little velcro stickies, these reference guides can still help your kiddo get practice taking responsibility for setting getting ready routines, taking care of chores, and more.

At 12 & 14, my kiddos have had enough of me nosing in on what they like to read. They’re also both taller than me, so they can by no means described as ‘little.’

So this 13 will be my cutoff for our ‘best of’ booklist, as Books for Littles really can’t contain them anymore ;)
