A small update about a clearer focus

When I started this Substack, I didn’t overthink it. I just wanted a space to share ideas around Visual Thinking. Something that’s been part of my way of working (and living) for years. Drawing things out to understand them better. To collaborate more clearly. To simplify without dumbing down.

But over time, I noticed that what I was writing about was shifting. The posts became less about the tools and more about what we’re trying to solve. What sits underneath the surface of our organizations. The patterns we keep bumping into.

I guess that’s where my attention has always been. Unwrapping strategy, culture, and understanding how systems behave. On how people try to make change happen, and what helps or holds them back. Visuals are still part of that. But I want this space to reflect the deeper layers. Not just how we work, but why it matters. Not just what we see, but what we often overlook.

So I’ve decided to give this space a clearer shape. A name that reflects where it’s headed. Systemic Strategy Sandbox. Still a place to explore, but with more intention. I’ll write short pieces, sometimes weekly, sometimes less often. They won’t be polished essays. More like working thoughts. Questions worth sitting with. Sometimes I’ll share tools or sketches if they help make sense of what I’m seeing.

And maybe that’s the point. This isn’t about offering answers. It’s about staying curious. About paying attention to how we lead, how we align, how we shape the organizations we’re part of, and how those organizations shape the world around them.
