Plans and Prices
GoDaddy and Webflow both offer free plans, so you can try a limited version of the services before committing. With GoDaddy's free tier, you can create a single website with limited social and marketing features. Using the free Webflow, you can only create two webpages, and there’s a 1GB monthly data transfer limit. On top of that, it can only include 50 CMS items, such as blog posts and images. This CMS functionality is unique to Webflow.
With either service, you must pay for the best experience. GoDaddy's entry-level Basic package (starting at $17 per month or $10 per month, billed annually) includes custom domains, SEO tools, and additional site design features. The Premium plan (starting at $30 per month or $15 per month, billed annually) lets you accept online payments, explore email marketing, and create social media ads. The Commerce option (starting at $35 per month or $21 per month, billed annually) allows you to sell unlimited products. Each plan includes payment processing for sales and offers a discount if you sign up for an annual plan. However, all GoDaddy plans, including the free tier, offer unlimited storage and data transfers.
Webflow's Basic tier (starting at $25 per month or $15 per month, billed annually) comes with 10GB of monthly data transfers, 10GB of file storage, and the ability to create up to 300 webpages. The Premium plan ($39 per month or $25 per month, billed annually) keeps Basic's storage allotment but starts with 50GB of monthly data transfers (with the option to increase it up to 2.5TB) and includes 2,000 CMS items. The business-focused Team package ($2,500 per month, billed annually) includes numerous professional features, such as AEO agents, publishing workflows, and priority tech support. For full professional flexibility, contact Webflow for a custom Enterprise-tier price.
Webflow is not only more expensive than GoDaddy initially, but it's also less generous. That's because its paid plans contain hidden potential fees. For example, if you need extra space, you must pay $0.50 per gigabyte per month up to 100GB. Extra bandwidth? That starts at $30 per month for an extra 50GB.

Integrations, Plug-Ins, and Templates
You can create beautiful sites with GoDaddy, thanks to 100 free, attractive templates. However, it's not always as smooth as it should be because editing layouts comes with frustrating limitations. For example, you can't control how the mobile site looks. At least you can swap templates whenever you want, which isn't commonplace in the category. Once you understand the rules, you can enhance your site with integrations (software that lets two systems communicate). These are mostly e-commerce features, such as adding Square payments or USPS shipping.
Webflow's issues are once again more about pricing than functionality. It also lets you build visually pleasing websites, but not all Webflow templates are free. The best designs are premium offerings, priced from $29 to $129. Webflow's free templates are visually lackluster, so the premium templates are pretty much a necessity. Webflow's templates also can't be switched once picked. The good news? Webflow lets you integrate free and paid third-party apps, such as CRM tools and traffic analytics.

Blogging and Image Editing
GoDaddy has a functional blogging tool with a slick interface that lets you write posts faster than with a dedicated site builder. The default image editing tool is fine but basic, with cropping and resizing options. For enhanced image editing, you must use GoDaddy's separate design tool, the GoDaddy Content Creator. It isn't included in the builder, but it is free with your subscription.
Webflow's most intriguing hook is its set of CMS tools, which gives you a system to efficiently manage content. The system is especially well-suited to blogging, as it lets you focus more on drafting posts rather than on maintaining a consistent design. Just remember, your tier determines how many CMS items you can make. Webflow also has capable image editing features, letting you resize images, adjust opacity, set borders, and apply filters and transitions.
This is basically an even match, but Webflow gets the win thanks to slightly more cohesion.

AI Tools
GoDaddy and Webflow both include potentially useful AI features even as part of their free subscriptions. With Airo, GoDaddy’s collection of AI tools, you can generate images for your site pages, product descriptions, and social media marketing copy. Meanwhile, Webflow offers a natural-language AI assistant for tweaking text, optimizing pages for SEO, and even creating entire web applications with the App Gen AI tool.
Both services fully leverage AI tools to speed up the site-creation process, but I don't recommend building sites with AI because removing human creativity also reduces overall quality.

Customer Service
Even the most intuitive website builders can sometimes trip you up. That's where good customer service comes into play. Webflow lets you chat with an AI assistant, message a live representative 24/7, or read through extensive and informative company forums. However, it lacks phone support. GoDaddy, meanwhile, offers all the help you could ask for: 24/7 phone support, online chat, and a community knowledge base.

And The Winner Is...
GoDaddy Websites + Marketing Website Builder
Webflow is an underappreciated website builder that should be on your radar thanks to its innovative CMS and app generation tools, but its frustrating pricing structure is cause for concern. GoDaddy Websites + Marketing, on the other hand, is an extremely solid website builder with great templates, tools, and hooks into other GoDaddy offerings. GoDaddy doesn't quite top Editors’ Choice winners Duda and Wix, but it's still an easy recommendation for anyone needing a fast, easy, and powerful website builder.
