About Me
Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m a software researcher and engineer based in Utah, USA and enjoy playing piano, learning, writing, and pretty much anything related to computers.
I founded CodexWest which offers expert witness source code review and R&D consulting for software technical legal cases and companies. I have a passion for learning new things, and especially using computers to help myself and others make connections in data within asynchronous, remote settings. I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Utah focused on security and wireless networking (6G). I also enjoy PKM and research and build collaborative distributed knowledge management systems like Zulip, KOReader, and Zotero.
