Lara Croft is the archaeologist-adventurer at the center of the Tomb Raider franchise. James Alan Gardner’s tie-in novels place her in separate adventures involving ancient sites, artifacts, and the people pursuing them.
The three distinct novels are The Amulet of Power, The Lost Cult, and The Man of Bronze. They use the action-and-exploration setup familiar from the games rather than a single continuing plot. Lara works as the capable investigator who takes the risks required to reach the mystery first.
