Abigail’s Senior Capstone Show

Celebrating four years of work and a job well done

Last night we attended Abigail’s senior retrospective show at Kent State’s Taylor Hall gallery. Today she’ll graduate with a BFA in Photography. So proud of this kiddo!

Meet Abigail!

Abigail Burkhardt is a Photography major and Arts Entrepreneurship minor from Columbus, Ohio. With her love of sports, she developed a strong interest in sports photography and interned with a professional MiLB team, the Lake Erie Crushers, over the summer and is currently interning with the athletics department at Kent State University.

She is passionate about capturing the intensity and strength of female athletes through dynamic action photography, highlighting them with the energy and recognition they deserve. She plans on pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management and in the future she hopes to become a team photographer for a professional women’s soccer team.

We also had the privilege of meeting some of the other members of Abigail’s cohort and admiring their photographs. They’re all going to continue to do great work.
