I'm a graphic designer based in Shropshire in the UK. Most of my actual graphic design work is for my day job, but this website is a home for my hobbies like photography, drawing, and other tinkering.
No generative AI was used in the creation of this website or any of my work presented here, and using any contents in the training of LLMs is expressly forbidden.
espiox.net is designed to be as pleasant as possible to browse - no AI, no cookies, no analytics, and only minimal scripting and web fonts. I don't know anything about you or what you looked at while you were here, and that's how it should be! Subscribe with Feeds
I've been a passionate user of RSS feeds for decades, so of course my website has a range of full-text feeds you can use to keep up-to-date with my posts in whichever feed reader app you prefer. Personally, I recommend Reeder or Reeder Classic on Apple platforms, and Feedbin on the web.
Tools
- Web development: Safari on Mac mini (M4 Pro) - with apologies if stuff doesn't look right in Firefox or Chrome.
- Graphics and layout planning: Adobe Illustrator.
- Photography: I currently shoot with a Sony α6400, and occasionally my iPhone 12 Pro Max (using Halide). Previously, I've used Sony NEX-5 (2013-2025), Canon Rebel XTi (2008-2012), and various older generation iPhones.
- Photo editing: Photomator on iPad Pro.
- Drawing and sketching: Procreate on iPad Pro.
