Since Ursula Le Guin was one of Darroll’s favourite authors we have chosen two of her books to discuss for this meeting:

• The Lathe of Heaven
• A Wizard of Earthsea

These are both classics that thoroughly deserve their place in every SciFi fan’s book collection. The Lathe of Heaven is quite short, and A Wizard of Earthsea is an easy read so it shouldn’t be a challenge to finish both, thought The Lathe of Heaven has a reputation for being a complex read so I wouldn’t start it at the last minute. For bonus points read the other two books in the Earthsea trilogy and The Left Hand of Darkness.
