Arthuriana & Folk Catholic Resources

In order to craft a liturgical year for my Arthurian polytheist practice, I have been following the Catholic calendar as Arthur’s court is Catholic. I got the idea when I noted that Arthur swore in his new knights and recommitted his older knights at Pentecost. Another example: We see Gawain praying to Mary throughout his journey to the Green Chapel. And of course, the Holy Grail–which contains Christ’s blood–is a vital part of the Arthurian mythos.

I also find that connecting to folk Catholic practices helps me connect to my ancestors. I’m really interested in the Black Madonna and hope to add more sources on her here as I read them.
