Next stop on our 2025 ASR recap is British Columbia 🇨🇦

After setting and running courses at the summer jams in Portland and Seattle, we continued north to Vancouver. In addition to supporting a few Apex athletes who competed at SPL, we managed to set 4 new courses around Vancouver and Victoria. Let’s take a look!

A day after competing in SPL, Vancouver native Benati extended his perfect ASR win streak with beautiful runs on Lam and Coal Harbour. Can anyone beat Ben on an ASR course in 2026?

With 2 ASR Vancouver wins holding strong since 2023, Taylor added another win to her record on Steamship in Victoria. Taylor’s still undefeated in the PNW, which also leads us to wonder, will anyone beat her PNW times in 2026?

It was great to finally meet Faz from México, and see him run 2 ASR courses! He absolutely dominated Iron Works and nearly won Coal Harbour despite taking only 1 attempt. Faz created 1 of México’s biggest jams, held every April in Aguascalientes. Rumor has it there may be a few ASR courses to run at their 2026 event on April 3-5!

Always a top contender, Joey ticked off 3 more courses, including a win on a gorgeous SFU course. He also briefly held the new course record on Iron Works but lost it to Faz a few minutes later.

With 2 strong showings on Coquitlam and Iron Works, Vancouver local Jess is in a great position to earn her first win on 1 of the 6 other ASR courses nearby. We hope to see her run a few more courses in 2026!

With 20+ consecutive blue rails to overcome, Iron Works is our original “meme course.” It’s not the well-rounded course we prefer to set, but with so many damn rails in a row, it had to be done. This is 1 of the most unique rail spots in the world and so we highly recommend giving it some time to help level up your rail running skills!

After taking the ferry over to Vancouver Island, we squeezed in this run thanks to a spot tip from our friend Di. It’s an incredible spot with lots of varied surfaces and obstacles, as well as amazing downtown vibes right on the water. We can’t wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful city.

In the next town over from Vancouver lies 1 of the best parkour parks in Canada. We originally set this course in 2023 during 1 of Taylor’s final training sessions before competing in SPL. Rails, big walls, jumps at height—this course has all the elements we look for in a course.

This course is an absolute monster to tackle, mainly due to its length. It’s 1 of the longest horizontal courses in ASR so far, which made it a perfect challenge for Ben’s track and field skills. We designed a massive jump into the middle of the course, and I wasn’t sure if anyone could do it with everything that came before, but Ben easily broke the jump and then crushed the full run after just a few attempts.
