It’s officially go-time. The 2026 ASR Open is live on the Apex Skool app, and athletes are already setting new course records.
We’re also excited to announce that the 2026 ASR Open is a wildcard qualifier for the USPK National Championships in Boston, AND the Parkour Earth World Championships in Brno, Czechia 🇨🇿
Apex Speed Run is finding the fastest athletes in the real world and qualifying the top performers for the biggest stages. We’re transforming public, outdoor training spots into international proving grounds.
Currently, we have 250+ players with 900+ runs recorded across 185 official courses in 87 cities and 18 countries. The leaderboards are live, the records are set, and it’s time to see who can top them in our first-ever ASR Open.
Why we’re doing this: Since 2006, we’ve been deeply involved in various professional sports leagues, events, and shows, competing and coaching on the worldwide stage. But the traditional sports model has limits—it’s highly centralized, often gated, and struggles to give value back to the grassroots athletes, teams, and communities who push the movement forward.
Apex Speed Run is our attempt to build a better alternative: the world’s first decentralized sport (DeSport). While we’re still in the early days of building systems to reward our athletes and setters with what they deserve, our mission starts here. We’re creating maximally accessible, measurable locomotive challenges for anyone, anywhere. We want you to go outside, test yourself, and keep pushing for that next PR.
How to compete: The process of finding a course, running, and verifying your clip is 100% open-source and free. If you can get to an ASR course, you can compete and qualify. Here’s how to get on the leaderboards:
Find a course: Check our map and find an ASR Open course near you.
Film your run: Video proof is everything. Follow course rules and film clean clips.
Get verified: Post your clips in the Apex Skool app for official review. Once verified, your stats update live on the global leaderboard.
Clips are due May 31, but we strongly encourage you to share much earlier, in case there are any problems with your run or video. Also, the official ASR Open tiebreakers favor players who run more courses and submit them sooner.
