Good now, beautiful souls.
This morning's sit offered one of those subtle, sacred pauses that turns a regular day into a revelation. The card we pulled from Dr. David R. Hawkins' Power vs. Force deck read:
“The discovery that nothing is hidden and truth stands everywhere revealed is the key to enlightenment about the simplest practical affairs and the destiny of mankind. In the process of examining our everyday lives, we find that all of our fears have been based on falsehood. The displacement of the false by the true is the essence of the healing of all things visible and invisible.”
Take that in. Deep breath.
Now let’s unpack it, gently.
We often think of healing as something big—dramatic, complex, hard-earned. But this card reminds us that healing can begin in something as subtle as seeing clearly. Noticing where a fear is built on illusion. Questioning the truth of our thoughts. Recognizing the power of presence.
In our sit, I mentioned a quote I always bumble but deeply feel—something like, “Most of what I feared never came to pass.” It’s funny how we tend to believe our inner fears more than we believe the kind truths others reflect back to us.
But what if the path to peace is paved not with more effort, but with truth gently displacing falsehood? Not through force, but through presence?
One of the most beautiful things about our Insight Timer community is the way you all show up for each other. When someone is missing, we notice. When someone shares their presence, it uplifts everyone. This isn’t just meditation—it’s living the truth of our interconnectedness.
Each sit becomes a ripple of healing, not just for us, but for the world.
Because showing up for your truth is how world peace starts: from the inside out.
What truth revealed itself to you as you read the quote from the card a moment ago?
Did the card resonate with a fear you’re ready to release?
What falsehood might you choose to gently replace with something truer, kinder?
Feel free to leave a comment—your share may be exactly what someone else needed today.
Until next time, may you create the most amazing now moments.
With gratitude for your presence,
Nicole
P.S. If you missed this morning’s sit, you can still meditate with the card and let it work on your heart in its own way. The truth has impeccable timing.
