Good now, beautiful souls,
I want to share something that dropped in so clearly during this morning’s meditation. It came through the words of a card from Power vs. Force by Dr. David R. Hawkins:
“Force has transient goals; when those goals are reached, there remains the emptiness of meaninglessness.
Power, on the other hand, motivates us endlessly. If our lives are dedicated to enhancing the welfare of others in everyone we contact, our lives can never lose meaning. Force can bring satisfaction, but only power brings joy.”
Let that settle for a moment.
So often, especially in high-performance spaces, we are taught to strive, push, hustle. To force things into existence. And sometimes it works — we get the job, the numbers, the approval. But afterwards? A quiet ache. A sense that something’s still missing. Sound familiar?
That’s the hollowness of force.
Power, in this context, isn’t domination or control. It's not about getting louder or stronger. Power is the quiet, anchored presence that flows from alignment. From love. From a desire to serve the greater good — not just self.
It’s the power of showing up as you are. Grounded. Present. Open. It’s what allows you to inspire and uplift without even trying.
Power motivates us endlessly because it’s not chasing — it’s being.
If you want to take this deeper, here are a few questions to sit with:
Where in my life am I operating from force?
Where have I tasted the true joy of power — that quiet, effortless strength?
What would shift if I chose power over force in my work, relationships, or self-care?
This shift — from force to power — is one of the most liberating transformations you can make on the path to success through stillness. It’s not just about finding peace. It’s about redefining how we lead, create, and live.
And if you're feeling this too, you're not alone. We're doing this together, one breath at a time.
With love and resonance,
Nicole
