There’s this task that’s been sitting on my desk for days—rewriting tutorials for a system I’m building with a former client who we’ll call Dr. H.
It’s a plug-and-play system for affiliates (and it’s a beast of a project) and one of our beta testers has been walking through it with me so we can fine-tune it for our future users.
And here’s the truth:
Every time I looked at those tutorials, my body said not yet.
Even though they were on my to-do list (for like the last 6 days).
Even though part of me felt guilty for not crossing them off.
Instead, I kept following what felt alive in the moment like calls, content, workshops…things that pulled my energy forward. The tutorials just sat there, quietly nagging at me.
Until today.
I hopped on a call with B (our beta tester) and realized: of course I couldn’t record those tutorials yet.
There were steps missing in the system itself like pieces of knowledge and flow that hadn’t revealed themselves until this convo.
If I had forced it earlier, I would’ve been teaching an incomplete process or had to re-record the tutorial (yet again).
That’s when it clicked (again):
My body wasn’t procrastinating.
It was protecting me from doing 2x or 3x the work to finish a project or a task.
It already knew.
I’ve noticed this pattern over and over again in business and in life.
The task that feels sticky? Often it’s because the information isn’t here yet.
The email you can’t bring yourself to send? Sometimes it’s because the alignment is still settling.
The program idea that won’t land in words? Maybe it needs one more lived experience before it’s ready to be born.
Even the things we want to manifest—a cat curling up warm and heavy on your chest, or the keys to a beach home where you can feel the sand still clinging to your toes after an evening walk—they don’t arrive on our timeline. They arrive when the conditions (and we) are truly ready to receive them.
The more I listen, the more I see that “not yet” isn’t laziness.
It’s divine timing.
It’s precision.
….and when I honor both, I find ease.
It’s the same rhythm I’ve been writing about in my Surrender Series—each gate of pleasure revealing not just a new way to experience an orgasm (yes, that’s incredible), but it’s a new way of trusting my body’s wisdom.
Running a business this way can feel radical in a world that worships deadlines and hustle.
But I’m not here to build by force.
I’m here to build by design.
Which means following what my body knows before my brain catches up.
It means trusting that “not yet” often ripens into the clearest, most aligned yes.
And it means allowing even my systems, the structures that hold everything, to come alive in the right sequence…even when it’s not the fastest way to do it.
Does my Manifesting Generator energy get challenged by this? Heck yes!
But, honoring my Sacral (and emotional authority during my Uranus Opposition) has been a game-changer, for sure!!!
Because isn’t this the work?
Learning to trust what feels right in our bodies, even when it doesn’t match the pace the world tells us to keep.
Where in your life or business are you pushing ahead before the clarity is here?
And what might open if you let “not yet” be enough—until the true yes reveals itself?
Because sometimes the wisest action you can take is to stay with the waiting.
That’s where the deeper alignment lives.
✨ If this landed, stay close. I’ll be sharing more soon about what we’re creating inside this Affiliate System—and how following alignment (not pressure) is the foundation for everything we’re building.
