The O-spot is one of those erogenous zones that I mistook for the cervix because I didn’t even know it was a separate zone!
But, what I did know was that my body had more to teach me. And the more in tune I became with my pleasure centers, the more I found myself stumbling into new territory just by following intuition…
…by saying yes to different angles, new positions, and staying curious about what felt good.
That’s how I first brushed up against the O-spot. And instead of a big, dramatic sensation, what I found was something quieter…deeper.
A kind of reverence I hadn’t felt before.
That realization landed even harder after my first Sensual Reset Workshop, when Julie, one of the women in the room, said:
“This was so eye-opening. It’s not what I thought it was going to be. It’s about energy, movement, and reconnecting mind, body, and spirit. The sensual part isn’t the focus but it’s the beautiful byproduct of learning to own your energy and take control of your life force.”
She was right. We were never given a real manual for our pleasure centers. Not in anatomy class. Not in medical school (Julie is a pharmacist). Not in everyday life.
And yet, the more I work with my body, the more I realize how powerful she really is. The heartbreaking part? Most women may never find out.
But that’s exactly why I do this work. Because every time I uncover a new gate like the O-spot, I realize that they’re built-in pathways back to our deepest power.
By now I thought I knew the map of my body.
Clit? Check.
G-spot? Absolutely.
A-spot? Yes please.
U-spot? Subtle, but powerful.
When I heard about the O-spot, I almost brushed it off at first.
But finding her felt like stumbling onto a secret manifesting portal not many women have heard of…until now.
If the cervix is the grand entrance, the O-spot is the hidden courtyard behind it…
…a place most women never wander into, but once you do, you never forget. It lives deep behind the cervix, in a little pocket your gynecologist might call the posterior fornix (see figure below).
Here’s the scoop:
It doesn’t feel sharp or fiery like the clit or G-spot. It feels…expansive. Like you’re being held from the inside.
It’s wired into your parasympathetic nervous system…a.k.a., the part of you that sighs in relief and actually lets go.
Energetically? It’s the place that says: don’t just touch me…meet me…here….for a long time because it’s that good!
This one is less about “technique” and more about presence (you’ve probably seen this theme here a lot in the Surrender Series which is why I always say, Sex is the best form or mediation).
It doesn’t come in hot like the clit, and it’s not the rolling intensity of the G-spot or the upward current of the A-spot.
The O-spot is quieter. More like slipping into warm water where your whole body softens before your mind even realizes what’s happening. I felt my jaw unclench. My breath slows down.
And when I did, tears came. Not from pain but from pure pleasure.
Like I wasn’t just being penetrated…I was being met and seen for the first time in this part of me.
That’s the gift of the O-spot: it doesn’t rush you anywhere. It draws you deeper into yourself until pleasure starts to bloom in layers. Not a spike. Not a surge. But a steady, reverent swelling sensation that keeps expanding throughout your entire being!
This is what it feels like in the body and this is what it looks like when you map it out:
See how it’s more like a rising tide than a peak? That’s exactly how it feels.
You know I can’t help myself here 🤓
In Human Design, the O-spot feels like Root pressure stirring something in the body and rising into the Sacral and Solar Plexus as a loop. It’s as if life force and emotion are meeting in one place.
The gates that often echo this experience are Root gates like 19 (Sensitivity) and 60 (Acceptance), or G Center gates like 46 (Love of the Body). Even if they’re not in your design, the frequency is the same: pressure that softens into embodiment, sensitivity, and depth.
Gate 46 - Love of the Body: honoring your body as holy, as the actual temple. When you meet the O-spot, it’s like saying yes to being present with your body instead of trying to escape it by thinking about your to-do list.
Gate 60 - Acceptance: surrendering and breathing into your limits so you can find real depth. It’s the wisdom of “less is more.” This is the exact vibe of this subtle zone.
Gate 19 - Sensitivity: feeling needs deeply - yours, your partner’s, the collective. This is why O-spot energy can bring tears or deep release. You’re finally sensitive enough to notice what’s been held and let it go if it’s the right time to do so.
Defined centers: If your Root, Sacral, or Solar Plexus are defined, you may feel a consistent rhythm here — like your body knows exactly when it’s ready to open into depth.
Undefined centers: If any of these are open, you may feel extra sensitive to your environment or your partner’s pace. The O-spot will invite you to slow down and honor your own timing, instead of rushing to match someone else.
For my Manifestors + Manifesting Generators (hey, multi-passionate besties 👋), this is especially big.
We’re wired to move fast, start things, chase sparks. The O-spot says: not so quick. Let this opening ripen before you leap. This is especially powerful if you have emotional authority. The power isn’t in starting everything at once — it’s in letting depth transform the way you move forward (story of my life, lately lol).
In Kabbalah (quick note: it’s the mystical map of the Tree of Life, where each sphere — called a Sephirah — represents an energy center in life and in the body), the O-spot feels like the movement of energy from Yesod → Tipharet → Binah.
Yesod is not only sexual energy/foundation but also where subconscious patterns live. That’s why the O-spot can bring tears or emotional release — you’re not just being touched physically, you’re bumping up against stored programming, hidden patterns like the bracing, the shame, the “I don’t even know why I do this” stories that live under the surface.
When that energy rises, it has to move through the heart (Tipharet) — the place of beauty, compassion, and integration. And that’s exactly what it felt like in my body: a subconscious exhale rising up and breaking open into my heart, releasing tears of joy.
When Yesod energy rises into Binah (the Great Mother), it’s like those old subconscious programs being mothered instead of managed. They don’t have to run the show anymore. Instead, she contains and holds you so you can dissolve and rewrite your old patterns.
It would be helpful to see these 2 paths here on the Tree of Life:
In Taoist tradition, this zone is tied to the Water element / Kidney meridian — the seat of both fear and wisdom. Which explains why the O-spot can bring tears. It’s literally your body dissolving fear into trust. Turning “bracing for impact” into “being met.”
That’s what the O-spot feels like to me: like a dam giving way, not with force but with a steady flow.
Basically? The O-spot is your body saying: “You don’t have to push. You get to be met here. You’re safe to go deeper.”
The O-spot reminded me of a journal entry I wrote during my Uranus Opposition, when I was really learning to trust my design.
I wrote about being torn between my old masculine conditioning. You know things like get up early, get straight to work so you can be productive kinda thing. Basically, trying to “make it happen” instead of letting it unfold.
Meanwhile, my feminine flow wants to start her day with spacious mornings, sacred rituals, tuning into my energy, and letting my body say “not yet” when a project or program isn't ready to be built just yet.
As a Manifesting Generator, it’s so tempting to sprint…to chase every spark, to start building a funnel the second inspiration strikes.
But just like the O-spot, my biggest breakthroughs haven’t come from speed. They’ve come from tuning into my body’s wisdom and trusting my authority in Human Design.
As a manifesting generator, my biggest breakthroughs haven’t come from speed. They’ve come from tuning into my body’s wisdom and trusting my authority in Human Design.
Every time I honored that “not yet,” the day unfolded with more clarity, more alignment, more joy, and better results without the force.
The O-spot taught me: depth can’t be rushed. Reverence can’t be faked. And it’s the same in business:
When you slow down a launch instead of muscling through, people feel the depth behind it.
When you trust your natural timing, the right clients show up ready.
When you stop over-explaining, the right people recognize themselves in your offer (this was a big one for me)
And when things aren’t moving on your timeline? That’s the time to do something that lights you up…like my aerial classes I’ve been obsessed with lately.
Because the most magnetic thing you can do isn’t adding more strategies. It’s letting yourself be seen exactly where you are in your journey.
That’s the same lesson the O-spot gives me: depth happens when I let my Sacral authority respond in the moment and allow my emotional authority (active during my Uranus Opposition) to ride the wave until full clarity lands in my body.
Since the O-spot is all about timing, depth, and presence, the way you integrate this energy depends a lot on your authority in Human Design. Here’s how you can play with it in your own body:
If you have Sacral Authority
Create a quiet space, put a hand on your womb, and ask your body a simple yes/no question about something you’re working on: a launch, a piece of content, even what to eat for dinner.
Breathe into your belly and wait for that gut pull: uh-huh or uh-uh. Don’t overthink it. Let your sacral be the guide, even if the answer surprises you (because they usually do).
The O-spot teaches us that the smallest yes can open into something much deeper if you trust it.
If you have Emotional Authority
Instead of rushing to clarity, give yourself space to ride the wave. Light a candle, journal on the thing you’re feeling pressure to decide or finish, and then…wait. Come back a few hours later, or even the next day, and notice how your clarity shifts.
The O-spot isn’t about the first rush of sensation, it’s about what unfolds when you stay present during the “waiting period.” Trust that your clarity always clicks when your emotional wave evens out.
A note for Manifestors with Splenic, Ego, or Self Authority
If your authority isn’t Sacral or Emotional, you can still take this O-spot lesson into practice: pause before acting, tune into the felt sense of your body, and notice how your authority speaks to you…whether it’s the instant instinct of the Spleen, the heartbeat of the Ego, or the direction from your Identity.
The O-spot reminds us that clarity doesn’t come from forcing; it comes from trusting the way your unique body signals truth.
“It’s always in the body, not the mind “
~ Ra Uru Hu, Creator of Human Design
Before you close this tab, take a breath and ask yourself:
“Where in my life am I trying to force clarity, when my body is actually saying ‘not yet’?”
That’s your O-spot wisdom talking.
If this article landed for you, we begin weaving this wisdom into practice in my upcoming, Sensual Reset Workshop.
You’ll learn about the Yoni Egg which is the most powerful pelvic floor workout on the planet. We’ll work with a combination of ancient energetic practices that enhance sensitivity in these exact areas. It’s like reflexology, sexual energy, and manifestation all had a baby.
Think of it as the foundation. The starting point that unlocks everything else including the holy grail of orgasms, the Cervical orgasm, which is coming up next in The Surrender Series.
You can join with a one-time ticket HERE, or become a paid subscriber to unlock all my workshops (quarterly) plus the full Surrender Series archive.
Julie said it best: “This was so eye-opening…not what I expected at all. It’s about energy, movement, and reconnecting mind, body, and spirit.”
P.S.
If you felt a spark in your body as you read this, The Sensual Reset is your place to begin so you can reconnect with your body and build sensitivity in ways you’ve never been taught.
P.P.S.
Coming up next in the Surrender Series: The Cervical Orgasm — the deepest gate of all and where surrender takes on a whole new meaning. Stay tuned.
