There was a time I thought I knew my body well.
Clitoris? Check.
G-spot? Oh yes.
A-spot? Absolutely life-changing.

So when I heard about the U-spot, I almost dismissed it.
I mean… how different could it be?

Turns out — very.

The first time I explored it, it was almost too quiet. No big surge. No instant rush. Just this soft, warm hello at the threshold of my body — the kind of sensation that doesn’t demand you notice it, but changes everything once you do.

It felt less like being lit up all at once, and more like being invited in. A slow, steady welcome that said, You don’t have to go anywhere yet. Just stay.

And I’ll be honest — that’s not always easy for women like us.
The multi-passionate ones. The “I have ten ideas and they’re all good” ones.

The Manifesting Generators and Manifestors who feel the spark, get the download, and want to bring it to life…yesterday.

We’re wired for motion. For vision. For that dopamine hit of starting.

But the U-spot has a different frequency. It’s the frequency of letting the moment ripen before you act. It’s like tuning it to your emotional authority (arrive at a clear decision over time) even though you may have sacral authority (quick uh-huh or nah-uh). It’s the part of you that says, Yes, you’ll get there — but right now, the magic is in the not-knowing.

And here’s the thing — I recognized that feeling.

It’s the same energy I’ve been living in building my brand (with the addition of my Uranus Opposition), By Design.

That space between the vision and the full reveal. Between my sacred marketing systems and my spiritual healing work. Between knowing my path as a mystic grounder and master teacher (more on these later)…and letting the offers that match that truth arrive in their own perfect rhythm.

The U-spot reminded me: beginnings don’t have to be dramatic to be game-changing. You can set the tone for everything that follows simply by meeting the opening with presence. And sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do…is linger at the doorway.

If you’re anything like me — ideas, passions, and possibilities never really stop flowing. You could map out five new offers before breakfast and still have space in your brain for a creative detour and a little appetizer in the bedroom by lunch.

That’s the gift of a multi-passionate, big-energy design…and also the challenge (sigh). Because when you’re wired for vision and momentum, it’s easy to treat every opening like a green light to go full speed. That’s how I used to approach everything before I learned about my Human Design, actually.

But the U-spot taught me something different: not every opening is meant to be rushed. Some are meant to be savored. Met. Allowed to set the tone for everything that follows.

That’s exactly how the U-spot works in your body.

U-spot location close to the Urethral Opening

The U-spot lives right above the vaginal opening, around the entrance to the urethra - where pee exits our body. It’s called the U-Spot because of how close it is to the Urethra.

It’s a small area — but it’s packed with nerve endings connected to both the clitoris and deeper internal structures like the G-spot.

But, what makes it unique isn’t just location — it’s sensitivity.

It responds best to light, teasing strokes or gentle pressure. It’s one of those moments when I find myself saying to my husband, “slow down” so I can experience the sensation for a bit longer. No rushing. No friction-heavy techniques.

Here’s what makes it different from other pleasure points:

It’s the welcome mat.

Because it’s right at the entrance, it’s often your body’s first impression of intimacy. When met with tenderness here, your nervous system can register safety almost instantly.

It activates full-body softness.

Unlike the upward pull of the A-spot or the deep pressure of the G-spot, the U-spot is more like a warm bath for your pelvic floor. It signals your body: you can relax, open, and receive.

It’s wired to the clitoral network.

Stimulating the U-spot can awaken sensation across the external and internal clitoris — which means it can enhance other types of orgasms when you combine them.

In fact, this is a great way to warm-up for the deeper vaginal orgasms so yes, it’s foreplay in the best way possible. This is true for all the other orgasms we can get from other parts of our body too (more on that in future articles).

It’s overlooked in most sexual scripts.

Because it doesn’t “shout” its pleasure, the U-spot often gets bypassed in favor of more obvious hotspots. But skipping it can mean skipping the kind of grounding and slow bloom that makes deeper orgasms (which, in my experience, could lead to the bigger breakthroughs in life) possible which are glorious in their own right.

The U-spot opens in ripples — each wave softening you into the next

The U-Spot in Reflexology & Taoist Tradition

In reflexology, the U-spot corresponds to the bladder and kidney meridians — energy pathways tied to release, cleansing, and the regulation of life force. Activating and stimulating it can feel like a gentle reset for your whole pelvic and nervous system, helping dissolve stored tension and creating a felt sense of emotional safety.

In Taoist sexual practice, the U-spot sits at the entryway of the lower Dan Tian — the body’s reservoir of sexual and creative energy. Awakening it can “open the gates” for the microcosmic orbit, allowing energy to travel upward through the spine and circulate back down the front of the body. This is why even subtle stimulation here can shift your whole energetic state, setting the tone for deeper, more expansive pleasure.

When I finally gave this part of my body real attention, I noticed how much of my intimacy had been about getting somewhere. Even in my sacred sexuality practices, I’d still subtly rushed to “the main event.”

But here, there was nowhere to rush to.

I remember lying back one afternoon — no goal, no agenda — and just circling this area with my fingers, barely touching, just noticing. At first, I thought, This is nice but not mind-blowing. Then…a wave of unexpected emotion rose.
