The chemical Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) is in just about everything. Covid vaccines, pharmaceuticals including mental health medications, cardiovascular medication, laxatives, over the counter medication, pain medication, antibiotics and more. You can even find it in some big brand synthetic supplements & even some premade herbal formulas. Personal care products like sunscreen, shampoo, make up, moisturiser & lubricant can contain PEGs. It is also found in cosmetic treatments such as Botox & dermal filler & as a preservative in processed food.
The biggest problem with this chemical is it comes under many different names & is often hidden from labelling altogether making it difficult for the consumer to avoid it. Further to that,research shows that sensitive individuals cross react to another chemically similar ingredient polysorbate which is in equally as many kinds of products listed under many different names like it relative PEG.
