Hey there!
It’s been a busy few weeks around here, but before we get too far into it, I have some exciting news I’m finally ready to share! We’re expecting our rainbow baby in September!
I know so many of you have been praying for me since we lost our baby last February, and I can’t thank you enough! Please keep those prayers coming for a safe and healthy pregnancy and baby + mama.
As is typical for me, the first trimester was roughhhh. My 7-year-old daughter figured out I was pregnant before we planned to tell the kids because of how often I was throwing up. I swear somehow, I survived by eating air and saltines for 15 weeks. But thankfully, I’m feeling so much better now!
Pregnancy after loss is a wild ride, and there have been lots of ups and downs emotionally. The early days were filled with trips to adoration (my work location just so happened to be down the street from an adoration chapel for the first 3 months!), and a few weeks ago baby and I got a special blessing with a relic of Pope St. John Paul II. Last week, we were able to go as a family to my anatomy scan and got to see the baby wiggling around. I can finally feel movement now which is also such a reassurance!
One thing that was different for me this time pre-conception was that I started my health journey about 3 months before I conceived. I cut out most processed sugars, focused on eating more protein, fruits, and veggies, and increased my daily steps. While I can’t say for sure that helped us get to this point, I definitely see some major benefits now with less excessive weight gain and more energy.
But like I said before, I basically ate nothing nutritious for the first trimester. I gave myself grace on that, and I’m glad it’s behind me. Now that I’m feeling better, though, I’ve noticed my sugar addiction is back with a vengeance, and my energy levels are dipping again.
Since this is the second trimester when I’m supposed to have the most energy, I decided it’s time for a reset.
And because I know I’m not the only one feeling tired, bloated, and stuck in a sugar spiral this spring... I’m inviting you to reset with me. 💛
I put together a gentle, grace-filled 5-day reset rooted in real food and simple faith habits—a little spring cleaning for the body and soul. It's called the Fiat Reset, and it starts May 19.
If you've been feeling off lately with sluggish digestion, sugar cravings, afternoon crashes, or just a general blah feeling, you’re so not alone. This reset is here to help you feel better without guilt, pressure, or extremes. Just nourishing meals, small changes, and daily encouragement grounded in faith.

Thank you again for all of your prayers, love, and support. It truly means the world to me! I hope to see you next week for the reset too. Have a great week!

Andrea
