As we are nearing the end of the semester, we would like to reflect on the semester thus far and how it would not have been possible without the support of our alumni and customers!
Thanks to continued community and institutional support, Anabel’s will stay open for both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026! We recently received new funding through GPSAFC (Graduate and Professional Student Assembly Finance Committee) which will be of great support to our initiatives.
As a nonprofit initiative, we rely on donations and fundraising to keep our prices low and ensure that our local partners are fairly compensated. Now, more than ever, we need your help to continue our work and expand our impact.
Whether you have been part of our community for years or recently learned about our mission, your financial support enables us to:
Continue providing fresh, nutritious, and low-cost groceries for students
Fund educational programs centered on sustainable food systems
Expand our offerings and support more local vendors

During the semester we have been able to supply over 600 customers per week and over 20,000 unique customers to date with affordable and nutritious food! In addition, we have been able to add many new, unique, and culturally inclusive products, many coming from local vendors.
Farro, Galangal, & Lemongrass
In addition to supplying nutritious food, our Collaboration and Education Committee has hosted several community dinners with the Dilmun Hill Student Farm, the Cornell Hydroponics Club, and World Central Kitchen! They have been a great way for the larger Cornell community to come together and share a meal! Pop-ups have also been hosted by the Marketing Committee to get folks excited about new products!
We have been posting more to our @anabelsgrocery account on Instagram, with reels highlighting students in the course! Feel free to follow us to view more content!
We are deeply grateful for the role you play in supporting Anabel’s and wish you a wonderful holiday season!
In kindness,
Your Anabel’s Team
P.S. Please consider making your donation a recurring gift to help us ensure that Anabel’s remains a vibrant, accessible, and impactful part of the Cornell community for the years to come.
