G’day lovelies!
February was super busy for me. A bunch of QLD library dates and a Books in Bars event in Sydney which was super fun all celebrating the release of my new romcom - Engaged, Apparently. With 2 more events coming up in the next couple of weeks, 2026 has been quite the whirlwind!
But firstly, I know you’re all here for Baby Irish🍀 updates, right?? Got ya back, Jack!
It’s been the most wonderful almost 2 months with our grandson. He’s the most gorgeous little mite and we are so lucky that we’ve had these early weeks with him. Alas they left for Ireland a few days ago which was wrenching but it’s time for his Irish nanny, pa and aunty to get in some baby snuggles. We will be seeing him again in May, so the separation won’t be too long but, oh my…. he’s stolen our hearts.
Attention - book 93 is done!! I swear these suckers gets harder and harder! It’s called Wild and Wanted and is the first in my Redemption Valley Ranch series and is out June 9th! The cover hasn’t been revealed yet but the blurb is below!
A broken down cowboy. A star on the rise. The ride of their lives.
Clay Calhoun used to be the hottest bad boy on the professional rodeo circuit but a career-ending injury has dragged him back to Wyoming and the family dude ranch he escaped a decade ago. The washed-up bronc rider doesn’t want to babysit tourists pretending to be cowboys while he’s licking his wounds and dodging regrets. Then a record label drops a city girl straight into his pasture.
Reluctantly famous country music sensation Stephanie “Stevie” Everhart needs authentic cowgirl cred to go with her shiny golden Grammy, so her label sends her and her helicopter mother to Wyoming for a month to get some mud on her boots. Unfortunately for Clay he’s given the job of teaching her how to ride a horse.
Clay doesn’t do babysitting. Stevie doesn’t do bad boys. But beneath those big, reckless skies, good girl Stevie discovers a streak of wild she’s never dared unleash and Clay finds grit and warmth that slip past his defences. What starts as image control ignites into sparks neither planned.
That’s the trouble with going a little wild, it’s almost impossible to go back. And you might just end up wanted—for keeps.
If you’re wanting your next great cowboy read why not preorder the book that had my editor saying this - “It is utterly romantic, spicy and I felt as though I was watching a movie of two people falling in love before my eyes. The banter was sharp and the emotion weaved through. Honestly, it’s so close to perfection.”
And trust me, this is a woman who doesn’t dish out praise lightly!
Before I go on, I just have to share the most wonderful review from Engaged, Apparently from Jayde at @wearebookedbabe on Insta - why not give her a follow?
okay but listen.
fake engagement?
childhood friends?
meddling small-town mums who start the chaos???
sign. me. up.
this book is the definition of a rom-com you accidentally devour.
one minute i’m laughing at the absolute nonsense these characters get themselves into…
the next minute i’m kicking my feet like a teenager because the tension??? hello???
the premise alone had me hooked.
two childhood friends return home and suddenly everyone thinks they’re engaged… to each other.
apparently.
what follows is a fake engagement that spirals, a small town full of busybodies, and a slow-burn friends-to-lovers situation that had me internally screaming.
the banter? top tier.
the chemistry? ridiculous.
the mums? honestly the real masterminds here.
finn? boy next door vibes, slightly doomed, but lovable.
sweeney? independent queen who absolutely did not plan to be fake-engaged today.
their dynamic? elite. the tension. the history. the “oh no we might actually like each other” vibes.
this story is funny, warm, and full of those messy feelings that come with going home and realising maybe the life you ran from… might actually be the one you want.
spice:
more tension and chemistry than outright spice, but the slow burn payoff is very satisfying.

would i re-read?
honestly yes. this is the kind of old school rom-com that we all love and adore.
Isn’t that just THE BEST? I have been so humbled by all the love for this book! So, if this sounds like you and you don’t have it yet, why not pick it up to read this weekend?
I’ve also had a revamped medical romance from my backlist release in all this flurry of activity too! A Night With The Italian Doctor had been completely re-edited, got a new cover and a new title and if you’re a fan of medical rom - why not check it out?
It’s book 1 in the Hot Italian Surgeon’s duo with the 2nd out at the end of this month!
Lastly - those events I mentioned? If you’re in Adelaide or Perth I’ll be visiting y’all next weekend! I’ll be in Adelaide on the 27th March and in Perth on the 28th of March talking all things romance and bookish with the fab Clare Connelly - check out the dates below if you’re keen and head to my website for all the details!
And for those who have got to the end - well done 😍 Here are your March freebies!
The first is from Jessica Gregory with her fun lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers billionaire romcom Room For Improvement. GRAB IT HERE!
And, because I know we romance readers also like a little crime/mystery from time to time, the second is a small-town Aussie set yarn from Fiona Tarr! GRAB IT HERE!
Aaaand, that’s it 😍I’ll be back next with the cover reveal for my new cowboy book and other goodies in a few weeks! Until then, happy reading.
Big Love, Amy xxx
