OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: Tackling Transport Poverty - Strategies for Equitable Mobility

Transport systems shape access to jobs, education, healthcare, and everyday opportunities. Yet conventional transport planning often fails to account for how infrastructure and service decisions affect different communities and social groups.

Developed by experts from University College London (UCL), FACTUAL, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC), and supported by EIT Urban Mobility, this course explores how transport professionals can better understand, measure, and address transport poverty.

Participants can choose between two alternative learning pathways: a fully online format or an in-person pathway that includes a compulsory one-day workshop in Barcelona on November 2nd.
