I am staying in a cabin in the middle of nowhere Georgia. It is drenched in natural sunlight, the daily high temperature is 70 degrees, and there is an outside patio that overlooks the trees and mountains.
If there was ever an ideal environment to finish my book, this is it.
The hardest parts have already been written (as I’ve shared plenty of times, the book has been written, it’s about becoming the version of myself who is ready to share it), and as I type this, I’m excited to announce that I’m officially her.
Selfishly, I also want to start writing and sharing my second book, but I promised myself I won’t do that until Princess Uninterrupted is finished. Title… TBD 😉
Today is the Lunar New Year, with the new moon in Aquarius. According to Chinese Zodiac, it’s the year of the fire horse, and from what I’m told, this means speed and brazen action.
I’m an Aries, and no stranger to heat or intensity. I watched Tiktok videos and prepared accordingly, cleaning the house last night, washing my hair yesterday and even changed into red underwear for good luck.
“When did white people get so into Chinese New Year?” someone asked in the comment section.
2026, apparently.
I don’t know if it’s the fire horse energy, being submerged in nature and successfully manifesting an early spring, all the tears I cried on Friday, making space for the new, or if divine timing has finally aligned in my favor…
but today truly does feel like the start of something incredible and beautiful.
