MT5 is coming to Algomatic Trading

A few things are changing at Algomatic Trading. Here's what's coming in August and why it matters.

MT5 is coming to the database

The most common question I get by a significant margin, is whether the strategies are available in MT5, mostly for prop firm usage. Until now the answer was always that you’d need to translate yourself using the plain English explanation.

That changes in August.

I spent the past few weeks going deep into MQL5, building individual Expert Advisors for my strategies and making sure the logic matches the original PRT code.

You will no longer need to manually translate strategies into MT5. Starting in August, every paid strategy will include a ready-to-run MT5 EA alongside the ProRealTime code and I’m also working back through the existing 20+ strategy database to add MT5 versions continuously until the whole database is covered.

The performance tracker is changing

The current monthly tracker exists for transparency. But there’s a more useful version of that.

I’m replacing it with a live Darwinex portfolio, a real portfolio I’m constructing from a selection of the strategies released here, built with correlation, drawdown and asset balance in mind. Not all 20+ strategies will make the cut. This is a serious example portfolio, not a showcase.

Instead of static monthly updates, you’ll be able to follow the live performance of a real systematic portfolio built entirely from strategies published in this newsletter. I’ll announce the launch date separately once it’s confirmed.

The database keeps growing

Q3-Q4 plan is straightforward: one new strategy per month with full ProRealTime and MT5 code. The focus stays on expanding the database while I get the MT5 EA format properly established so you can deploy these strategies on prop firms and Darwinex.
