Alexia Georghiou · Happiness Driven Leadership

I’ve spent years studying happiness, leadership, and workplace culture, and one truth continues to emerge: people perform at their best when they have the capacity to thrive, not merely endure.

As AI reshapes how we work, the conversation is understandably focused on productivity, efficiency, and innovation. What concerns me is that we are moving faster than we are adapting as humans. Technology is accelerating, but human needs have not changed. We still require connection, recovery, purpose, psychological safety, and sustainable ways of working.

My interest in this topic is not about resisting AI. It’s about ensuring that as organizations become more intelligent, they do not become less human.

The future of work will not be defined solely by what AI can do. It will be defined by how well leaders create environments where people can sustain high performance, maintain wellbeing, and flourish alongside technological change.

That is why I write, speak, and research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human sustainability, and happiness-driven leadership.
