Liberation through loosening

As a “solopreneur,” I’ve been realizing just how much pressure I put on myself to show up consistently on social media!!! Send out emails!!! Put out content!!! Provide value!!! Educate!!! Answer everyone’s questions!!! Prove that I’m worthy!!! Make sure I don’t upset anyone or step on toes or that I don’t say the wrong thing!!!

And… then I thought… what if I’m just constantly getting in my own way??

What if I’m marinating and soaking in the beliefs of THIS NEEDS TO BE DIFFICULT and NO PAIN, NO GAIN and BUSINESS IS HARD and I DON’T GET TO TAKE BREAKS IF I WANT TO GROW and FEELING DRAINED IS NORMAL.

What if those sneaky beliefs and my tendency to give, do, be, support, and deliver are the things standing in-between me and my dream life?

Where am I still operating in the frequency of scarcity instead of wild abundance?

Where am I still playing my victim card?

Where do I still fall into the “not good enough” trap?

I’ve been soaking in all of these questions for a while now, and I realize that I have so many limiting beliefs around what I think I need to do to create what I think I want in life.

I’ve been having juicy chats with my mentorship clients around this. Building your dream business and excavating those sneaky lil subconscious beliefs around money and abundance and all that fun stuff.

And oh, the mirror that is truly aligned work. 🪞

The truth is, I get triggered all the time. By speaking truth to my clients and then realizing that I am usually not so kind to myself.

Realizing that I have ALL of the limiting beliefs (and then some) that I am helping them weed out while having a whole garden full of weeds myself.

The irony!! The deep WORK!! 🫠

For example, one of my new mentorship clients told me that she knows she doesn’t want to be on instagram.

UGH! How wildly triggering for me!!

Because, the thing is… I fully believe that she is totally capable of building a very successful practice WITHOUT social media, and we’re building a plan to get her there, but I’m not sure if I fully believe that for myself.

I was incredibly inspired by her confidence in knowing exactly what she wants. And a little guilty that I still feel caught up in a trap of “having to do stuff I don’t want to do in order to grow.”

How rudely INCONVENIENT for my own little limiting beliefs. 🥹

Because, truthfully, I don’t love social media (in fact, I think I actually hate it… which is becoming more and more apparent with every single day that passes since deleting instagram about 2 weeks ago).

I don’t love all the shoulds that sneak along with it, either.

It’s that little nagging belief that “I have to show up consistently to grow whether I feel like posting that day or not.”

One of my favorite victim stories to tell myself is that I MUST suffer through the woes of social media in order to grow my business. I have plenty more, trust me… that’s only one of them!

Something else I like to do with my mentorship clients is to help them lean into what it would feel like to be effortlessly attracting their dream revenue goal. One of my clients recently gave me a certain number that was so high it made me question where I was still thinking small and playing it safe.

Inspirational? Yes. Triggering? Yes!

I realized in that moment that I TRULY love what I do and I am so dang lucky to get to play around in a container with people where we really just exist in the vibes of curiosity, expansion, and constantly pushing the limits.

And by limits, I mean the ways we get in our own heads and create those limits for ourselves.

Playing it safe to be liked… to be accepted… to stay safely within the confines of our comfort zones.

But that’s not where true perception shifts happen. That’s not where effortless abundance comes knocking at the door.

Not just with money or business or whatever… but with everything.

And if you’re thinking that this doesn’t apply to health or GNM or resolving conflicts… man, you are so wrong.

BTW → If you have absolutely no clue what “GNM” is, it stands for German New Medicine (I also like calling it the Germanic Healing Framework) and it’s a radically different way of understanding health and our bodies. It definitely falls within the “mind-body” realm, but it gets way more specific on how our bodies adapt biologically. I have a podcast episode for total newbies that’s a quick little intro - click here to access. If you’re wanting a more thorough introduction, continue to listen to episodes 6, 2, and 3 (in that order) after you finish the one I just linked up.

Okay, back to my musings! ⬇️

I’ve realized that I don’t love working in the realm of focusing primarily on symptoms + conflicts.

I want to go DEEPER. I want to get to the juicy nitty gritty of perception that, obviously, will affect our physiology but honestly it’s just… everything. It’s life.

I want to play around in the realm of possibility and expansion and IDEAS and growth and abundance.

This is why I will be changing up how I show up, the work (aka PLAY) that I do, and what offerings I will have. I’ve been feeling this pull for the past several months and, honestly, it’s time.

I used to think that I needed to have things all figured out to be fulfilled. To be happy. To grow my biz. Whatever. But, what if the key to expansion is leaning into the messiness?

Tapping into that creative energy and allowing whatever comes up to simply be enough?

What if it is MORE than enough?

I will no longer be accepting any new Symptom Clarity Session clients, and will be transitioning away from symptom work entirely. I know I want to focus primarily on my mentorship program and will be offering 1:1s exclusively within that container. I also want to focus on my GNM education offerings, because, honestly, learning + embodying this paradigm will make you your own best symptom detective. (plus some other fun stuff that’s in the works!)

No rights or wrongs here, just creating space for what truly lights me up.

Truthfully, I’ve been planning to transition away from my symptom 1:1s for some time now. I’ve been in the process of training a new (fantastic) coach who I’ve been mentoring for the past few months and I am so excited for you guys to get a chance to work with her because she is truly gifted at this work and will be such a beautiful support for those of you who would like some clarity on a symptom you’re dealing with. I’ve decided to open up three sessions at a discounted rate where you will be working with her but I will also be present on the call. If you’d like to grab one of these sessions, please send me an email and we can get that scheduled ;)

I also have several mentorship clients/graduates who are fantastic coaches and all have their own unique niches/areas of expertise (AND they’ve all gone though my intensive GNM education curriculum, so I fully trust that they really know their stuff when it comes to teaching GNM and are also integrating this framework into their coaching in a way that is balanced, nuanced, and non-dogmatic).

Anyhow, this is my very-long-winded-way of saying that how I show up on here and my business and offerings is going to be changing and will look a little different moving forward ;)

And, of course, I’m still going to be talking about GNM here and there - perhaps not as explicitly (i.e. educational content), but rather sharing about how I live my life through the lens of this beautiful paradigm.

I love teaching GNM in a way that actually feels good and honest and raw… NOT in a way that suggests that this framework is the answer to literally everything or is the absolute authority on health and your body.

Because, honestly, YOU ARE. You are the ultimate authority on your consciousness and, therefore, your physiology.

I am not trying to “prove” GNM to people or convince them of, well, literally anything.

Just playing, questioning, unlearning, learning, and embracing this delicious process of softening.

Liberation through loosening.

Just playing around, you know? ;)

Happy unraveling,

Abigail
