Many people associate me and this newsletter with resource investing.
In fact, I am a generalist value investor.
I read constantly and have curated a cohort of really smart people (smarter than me, I would say) from which I get a constant stream of great ideas. many of which are outside my current infatuation with resource stocks.
I basically will buy anything if it is cheap enough and I can identify a catalyst that will re-rate the stock higher.
Last year, I added a pharmaceutical company that has had one of the best new product launches in years.
The stock has been in a steady uptrend for months, and I believe recent and upcoming news will push it even higher. I am adding to my winning position in this stock and discuss why below.
