This is Dudley Town Centre where I live in England UK. It is an historic old town dating back to Anglo-Saxon times.
Dudley Castle is a historic, ruined fortification in the West Midlands, England. First established as a wooden motte-and-bailey fortress in the 1070s after the Norman Conquest, it evolved into a powerful medieval stronghold, a Renaissance palace, and eventually—following a devastating 1750 fire—a romantic ruin housing a world-renowned zoo.
Thousands used to flock here on the steam trains when I was just kid. We stood waving to all the passengers on the train as it passed by our old victorian house that was only yards from the railway track, to visit the ancient castle and zoo.
