Double chocolate muffin tops

I want to say that I’m classy and peel the wrapper off before enjoying a muffin from top to bottom at once. But I’m not.

I’m usually ripping the muffin top off, sometimes as a single unit, sometimes in pieces, and devouring before I even consider the base.

These double chocolate muffin tops skip the bottom and go straight for the best part: that fluffy, chocolate-packed dome.

This recipe can be made in the oven or a toaster oven, and comes together with your standard muffin-making magic ingredients.

My trick: mini chocolate chips for pools of chocolate in every bite. Plus more on top to get that bakery-style finish.
