there’s one men who will miss this versions of me and another one will wins them all

The man you don’t end up with will never know the sound of your laugh ten years from now.

He’ll never see the smile you wear on the happiest day of your life. He’ll never watch you walk down an aisle—and it won’t be because you never made it there.

It’ll be because someone else will be waiting at the end of it.

The man you don’t end up with will never know how beautiful you become when someone loves you the way you’ve deserved all along.

He won’t get to watch you bloom in full form, and he will never steal the beauty from your soul.

He’ll never watch you dance barefoot in the kitchen while dinner burns and the dog barks at absolutely nothing.

He’ll never hear children call you “Mom.”

He’ll never know how you take your coffee at thirty-five or which side of the bed you’ll eventually choose.

He’ll never get the privilege of seeing the wrinkles around your eyes when you laugh so hard you forget to breathe, because he was never the one who got to make you laugh like that.

Because the man you don’t end up with doesn’t just lose the version of you he already knew.

He loses every version of you he’ll never get to meet.

And how beautiful is that?

Every man you don’t end up with brings you one step closer to the one who will love you every Tuesday for the rest of your life.

Every goodbye moves you one step closer to the person who won’t become another goodbye.

One day, you’ll stop asking why it didn’t work, because you’ll be too busy living the life it made room for.

You’ll look across the dinner table at the man who knows exactly how you take your coffee, who dances with you in the kitchen without needing a reason.

And you’ll realize that every wrong man didn’t take you farther from your forever.

Because the greatest love of your life was always waiting at the end of every man who wasn’t.
