How have I grown this year?

It’s easy to overlook what we achieve day by day. Little wins get forgotten (or go unnoticed in the first place), as we focus on the next thing we need to get done.

We might feel like we’re behind, as we pass the mid-point of the year, with goals seemingly out of reach.

Or maybe we think that only massive wins count. Or worse, that our ‘failures’ are a sign we’re getting nowhere and we should just quit.

But what if you flipped the goal on its head and instead of focusing narrowly on a particular outcome, you considered how you’ve grown in the process.

  • Maybe you’ve learned new skills, or a different way of approaching things.

  • Perhaps you’ve overcome unanticipated challenges and come out the other side with a fresh perspective.

  • You might have built new relationships and blossomed in them.

  • You might have grown emotionally, boosted your wellbeing, or embraced your creative spirit.

If you put your mind to it, I bet you can come up with plenty of ways you’ve grown in 2026. Whatever you’ve achieved, be proud of yourself, and remember to enjoy the journey!

Ha, my instant reaction to this one was to laugh - boy has 2026 been a year of growth so far. Diving into solopreneur life has been a massive shift and a steep learning curve. It’d be easy to focus on how slow progress is, but I’m staying optimistic!

I’ve grown my willingness to put myself out there, to show up and be visible in my business. I’ve invested sooo many hours stepping outside my comfort zone to learn marketing and sales (WIP!)

I’ve leaned into working with my energy flows and now take better care of myself. My relationships have grown stronger as I’ve grown happier in myself and prioritised my wellbeing. So, solid growth so far!

I’d love to hear any reflections you have on this prompt. 💬
