Fall Sessions Are Almost Here! 🍎

Hello!

We know you are chomping at the bit to get your fall schedules confirmed! We want you to know that we are actively wrapping up the final pieces this week and hope to have final schedule confirmations out to you within the next few days.

Thank you for your patience while we juggle schedules, tutors, students—and, of course, a whole building move!

Here are a few important dates to have on your radar:

August 27 — Last Day of Summer Sessions
We’ll officially wrap up our summer tutoring schedule.

August 28 — MOVING DAY! 📦
The boxes are packed, and WVDC is headed to our new home!

Week of August 31 — CLOSED
There will be no tutoring sessions this week while we unpack, organize, and prepare our new office at:

Salem, OR

Week of September 7 — Open House Week! 🎉
Keep an eye on your inbox! We’ll be sending invitations and details for an open house so you can visit, meet the team, and explore our new space. We are SO excited for you to see it!

Week of September 14 — Fall Sessions Begin! 🍂

All students—returning and new—need to complete the 2026–27 registration forms before beginning fall sessions. If you haven’t completed yours yet, please make sure that is on your to-do list as we finalize schedules. We are incredibly grateful that you trust us with your child’s literacy education. Moving our entire center while wrapping up summer programming and preparing for a new school year is a HUGE transition, and you have been incredibly gracious and patient with us throughout it.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home and begin another year of learning, growth, and celebrating our amazing readers.
