Jordan · Written in the Heavens

Stargazing is meant to be a unique experience for every observer.

On one hand, YHWH (the Lord) created the stars to communicate His message. This means the pictures in the constellations are not random but intentionally crafted by Him to tell a special story. This is why I teach that the constellations should be interpreted through the lens of Scripture.

On the other hand, different people see different shapes, meanings, and significance in the constellations. Every constellation I teach comes with personal interpretation. Others who teach on the stars also interpret through their lens of understanding.

Each individual interprets and decides what is significant to him/her.

Today, we are going to start with a short exercise.

Take a moment to pause and observe the figure below.

What do you see in the following picture? What features stand out to you?

I invite you to share any thoughts or insights in the comments.

Thank you for taking a moment to connect with what you see. Exercises like these can help us get in touch with YHWH’s signs in the Heavens, which He uses to speak to you and me.

Now, I will share my insights and how they relate to YHWH’s promises in Scripture.

This constellation is most commonly known by its Greek name Perseus. Perseus is a name in Greek mythology meaning to destroy. The Greek name steers us away from the true Hebrew meaning.

The Hebrew name of the constellation is Perets (פרץ). Perets means to break forth, burst open, or breach. As we go along, we will see that the Hebrew meaning connects with the Scriptures.

In English, I call this constellation ‘Breaker’ or ‘Waymaker.’

The pictograph illustrates One providing a way.

The pictograph is a man. His legs are striding forward as if he is hurrying to do something.

His right arm is flexed. His left arm is stretched out.

Number 11:23 “And יהוה said to Mosheh, ‘Is the arm of יהוה too short? Now see whether My word meets you or not!’”

In Scripture, a long or outstretched arm is a symbol of Yah’s power. When YHWH extends His arm, it’s to do something great. In contrast, a ‘short arm’ is a sign of limitations and weakness. YHWH reminds us that His arm is powerful and ready to save.

Isaiah 59:1 “Look, the hand of יהוה [the Lord] has not become too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear.”

The Book of Ezekiel also uses the imagery of a strong hand and outstretched arm. In the next verse, YHWH emphasizes two things.

  1. His powerful reign

  2. His discipline

Ezekiel 20:33 “‘As I live,’ declares the Master יהוה, ‘do not I, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out, reign over you?’”

The Breaker is a picture of YHWH reigning over His people with power according to His righteousness.

Micah 2:13The breach-maker [perets] shall go up before them. They shall break out and pass through the gate and go out by it, and their sovereign pass before them, with יהוה at their head!” (TS 2009)

In the prophecy quoted above, One named the “Breach-Maker” (aka the Breaker) comes to lead His people out of a certain location. If you look at the Hebrew word used for the Breaker in Micah 2:13, you will find ‘perets.’

The Hebrew title in this verse is the name for the Breaker constellation.

Micah 2:13 identifies the Breaker as King. The Breaker also embodies the presence of YHWH leading His people. We have to ask: Who is the Breaker? And where are the people?

The Breaker is Yahushua. He will come to the prophesied sheepfold. The sheepfold is where YHWH’s people will gather before the return of Messiah.

Let’s recap by reading Micah 2:12-13 altogether.

Micah 2:12-13 “I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. The breaker [perets] is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.” (KJV)

My newest eBook is about a group of five constellations that prophesy the gathering and redemption of YHWH’s people in the End Days. This book contains information about Messiah appearing to His people in the prophesied gathering place.

As you might guess, the topic is close to my heart and of great significance for the future Bride of Messiah.

To study deeper about events as told through the stars and prophetic Scriptures, you will want to read the eBook.
